GGG is in line to get the WBC middleweight title either by fighting for it or by default. A fight with Lara offers him nothing. Lara doesn't bring in the money and he is a runner. Lara has no ranking as a middleweight and if GGG knocked him out like I think he would then he would be called a bully for picking on a 154 pounder. If Lara is serious about fighting GGG then he needs to beat a high ranked middleweight first and become a contender and then GGG would at least have some logical reason to fight Lara. Lara has not fought anybody very good since losing to Canelo.

Why isn't Lara fighting the Charlo brothers,Jrock,Or any other 154 lb fighter on his side of the street? He's with Haymon and still can't get a good fight but he's supposed to just come over to HBO and fight GGG just like that ha?

They can't even make their own guys fight each other never mind guys from other promotional companies.

Lara can't even mention Jacobs and Quillin's name, who are in the same division as GG. Maybe that's exactly why Lara is so bold in calling out GG because there are promotional hurdles involved. With Jacobs and Quillin he will have no excuses in case they call his bluff.

Who do you even believe? If he wants to seriously fight GGG he should ask daddy Al and inform K2 that he is allowed to fight on HBO. Everything else is just cheap talk.

I think he was robbed and so did most people. Also dirrell has mentioned that he wants to fight giggi again so hopefully giggi will move up and rematch him

You should make a poll because I remember it close but I need to rewatch. I would welcome a GGG/Dirrell fight once GGG unifies MW. Would definitely be a challenge for GGG.
