Why you bring up Floyd's first fight at LW to tell me he's a small WW? That makes no sense at all...

If Mayweather was chasing glory, he could've chased some better fighters. I already pointed out some guys his own size that he decided to never fight. Nobody asked for Sosa & N'Dou when Johnston & later Lazcano came around. He went up for Gatti, not Tsyzu. He turned down Margarito for Baldomir. He stepped away from the sport when his division at 147 got hot.

Floyd was a legit sized WW. Like you said, he only went up to 154 for money fights. Golovkin is a legit sized MW, and so far has only looked to go up to 168 for money fights. You praise one guy and criticize the other for the same actions.

Tsyzu was signed to fight Hatton already, Hatton won and his team said he wasn't ready for Floyd yet.....you probably wasnt even following boxing then

Mayweather was calling out Tszyu, Hatton and ODLH for years....you cant make someone fight you, he was no cash cow then...until he beat Gatti in 05 he was all risk no reward, but you wouldn't know that because you were not following boxing at the time

Margarito lost to a prospect in Paul Williams the same year Mayweather beat ODLH and hATTON...Baldomir was the champion and Margarito was a contender with a trinket when Floyd fought Baldmoir....Baldmir beat Judah and Gatti, at that point Margo's biggest win was over upstart Kermit Cintron

The myth of Mayweather giving 15 lbs of advantage on fight night has already been debunked. He never gives the official night weight and he said he weighed 150 for the canelo fight when one day before in the weigh in he was 150.5, absolute bull shet.

He never fought a taller guy than him except Corrales back in the day or washed up de la hoya amonst exceptions. He was always the taller man with the longer arms.

it's easy to poke holes in the resume of carl froch. it's just not that good. he's got a lot of good / OK wins. he lost to the two best fighters he faced, and the rest of his wins can easily be put into perspective if you contextualize the years leading up to and following them.

Why would you rather draw conclusions about the outcome of GGG vs Ward from Murray vs Abraham rather than Golovkin and Ward actually fighting?

Oh it won't be the conclusions I draw that will be fun, I'm just anticipating the Ward/GGG smack talk will ramp up after that and that could be fun to see.

Floyd Mayweather moved up 5 divisions in his career.

Gennady Golovkin has moved up 0 and was asked to move up 1 to face Ward.

Abraham barely turns up for his fights any more, he already went life n death with Paul Smith - the guy you lot deride Ward for fighting as a comeback opponent

He was only asked to fight 1 division above, but against a guy who was 2 divisions above. Ward hasn't fought at 168 in 2 years.
