Andre Ward speaks on fighting at 175, Kovalev and more

I second that notion. This is the first time I've seen a boxer being ridiculed for taking on a tougher opponent.........some of these so called fans are an embarrassment to GGG.Can Little G fans just stay out of Ward/Kovalev threads from now on?
These threads are for real fans of the sport who want to see a real fight between 2 real fighters.
These matters don't concern Little G or his fans.Comment

Sanchez said they would stop Andre Ward in 10 rounds, that must have been 2/3 years ago now.The situations aren't exactly the same in my opinion.
I was under the belief that Ward expressed interest in the match up after GGG tried to make fights with Chavez Jr. and Froch. I don't think they ever got far enough into negotiations for a fight between them to discuss tune ups, etc. Not to mention that Able was running his mouth about GGG being a monster, capable of beating any fighter from 154-168.
Ward seems to be giving Kovalev the respect he deserves by admitting he needs to prepare himself for a fighter of his caliber. I didn't get that same impression from GGG's camp.Comment

Nice paraphrasing. He said his goal was to end his career as a heavyweight and as a fighter he believes he can beat any man including Klitschko.
It's nowhere near as "matter of fact" a statement as Golovkin's team put out about being willing to face everyone from 154-168.

Correct. Not Golovkin himself, his ****** trainer Sanchez.Nice paraphrasing. He said his goal was to end his career as a heavyweight and as a fighter he believes he can beat any man including Klitschko.

That's right, Sanchez is delusional as hell.
GGG will likely lose to Ward, he's too small.
But we know who truly is confident
taking 2-3 tuneups before Kovalev is OK but GGG must go to Ward right away

Just so you twits can get that out of your vocab once and for all, "As a fighter, I believe I could beat a Klitschko… I’m wired to believe that…”
That's a statement about a fighter's mentality. It's not calling out a bigger fighter, then running away with your tail tucked.Comment
