You are arguing that 'it doesn't have to be a monopoly yet, just creating an environment that would give himself a monopoly would be illegal and have asserted that it happens often because 'billion dollar deals get cut short by the gov't all the time because of the fact it would create a future monopoly.'
What you presented is not an example of an illegal act, it is an example of the courts acting to prevent an illegal act. If it is determined that the mergers of a company would create a monopoly, the courts would act to prevent that. In order for the company to be punished, for an illegal act, the courts would have to show that they have created a monopoly.
In the case of Al Haymon, he's not being judged on acts that he's yet to commit ergo it would need to be shown that his acts have created a monopoly.
And judicial precedent has no standing here because this has never happened before you fcking ******.

In a lot of cases like this, they just want to keep them busy in court until the investors decide "to heck with this" and walk away. It wouldn't be the first time this happened.
It might work. Arums got millions of dollars, he might as well strike back at the company that's trying to run him out of business.

These lawyers are expecting to be fighting this for years, it will cost millions and millions of dollars in lawyer fees, not to mention countless resources and time they can't get back.
They won't even take these cases unless they are pretty sure they have a shot to win or at least reach settlement.
But yeah, MC Hammer, we should listen to him, he knows what he's talking about.
These lawyers take any case presented because they get paid regardless of the result. If Arum wants to be ****** and waste money on a frivolous lawsuit, the lawyers will have no problem taking it from him.
On another note, all that tightness isn't good for your blood pressure. That's how you get hypertension lmao

Haymon is paying fighters inflated purses from this war chest because the more he pays the more goes in his pockets. He's tasking money from the investors and putting it straight in his pocket. No conflict of interest there when he's controlling the networks and the investor money.
