The PPV for this fight right now should generate 1.8 million buys. FAT DAN is fat **** sucker for putting Gonzalez at number 1 and GGG at number 3 and have Ward and Kovalev below them. They always over hype fighters and claim they are knowledgeable on the sport. GTFOH! Both of these fighters have a much more legitimate body of work. This fight will determine the new era.

Like I said years back..... if you dont like Ward, fine, no problem..... just dont become a fan of any fighter from 168-175 for the next few years
It looks like Stevenson will get his shot at the champ..... but Kovalev will get his shot first, because Stevenson let Kovalev take his shine.
In my book, Stevenson is only rated higher than Kovalev because Team Kovalev ducked the purse bid.
At 175..... shht just got real.

Wow if this fight happens, its really big. But men, Kovalev must be desperate to work a deal in three fights just to get a good name :P
Lets see what happens from here on.Comment

Not really.Ok i dont necessarily disagree with you, i like that, style/form/ability but at some point level of oposition absolutely has to be considered or Errol Spence could be p4p right now if it was only style-form-ability...u see what im getn at?
And to addresd ur Pac over GGG, Kov comment...dude of course taking Ls affects ones rating which is why he dropped some spots right?
I cant spend time on this now, but I have recently commented on this in other threads.
Basically, P4P is completely hypothetical, it is rubbish really.
A long story short..... we need defined criteria.
Ceteris paribus is the best way, " all things being equal ".... so resume doesnt matter, which is great it means you dont get credit for old wins..... so in theory you can absolutely include a hot prospect.
However, supposedly respected P4P lists will rarely do that.
But, they never publish their criteria either, so ?
It is all theory and cannot be taken seriously.
I can get into it sometime, but have a few things to do at work now.Comment

But he wasn't the guy who was apparently preparing for Golovkin.
Ward was 172, and according to Loeffler Ward even considered the catchweight for Golovkin..... confirming that he can definitely make 168.
Team Golovkin had no reason to avoid that fight.
I agree that they had no real reason to take it either.Comment

Golovkin Rejects Idea of Catch-Weight For Cotto, Canelo
IBF/IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (34-0, 31 KOs) has no intention of agreeing to a catch-weight against the winner of Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (45-1-1, 32 KOs) vs. Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33 KOs), who battle for the WBC middleweight championship on November 21st at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
