If GGG obliterates Lemieux in two rounds.

Canelo and Our net stocking wearing buddy will surely crap their pants.

They vacate but keep the Lineal. Canelo, Goldenboy, and their Mexican fan base attempt to make that Lineal sound as if he is MW champ-although he'll have no belts.

And GGG will have to unify and draw talent up from below and down from above. (And eventually laying waist to HBO commentary artist and Court Room junkie Mr. CoWard.)

Hell, Goldenboy may have paid the refs to allow Lemieux to put bricks in his gloved. (JOKING)

    That's why serious it is

    Just thinking about this article.....

..... so basically, if Lemieux lands betsy and stretches out Golovkin.....

..... then Cotto will just need to catchweight Lemieux and Lee down to 156, to become the undisputed, unified, lineal, middleweight champ ?

    Is that right ?

Nah..... if Lemieux gets lucky, he will fight Cotto next for the money.

Lemieux and Lee will both accept a catchweight of 156.

It will be too much for them, Cotto will win.

He will become the undisputed unified lineal MW champ.

He will then retire without fighting Golovkin.

No Catchweight for belts is right.

If your fighting for a 160 belt, then it should be at 160. If you are fighting for a 154 belt...

I think that is the plan Goldenboy is laying out for Canelo. They want him to be this fake lineal champion. Vacating the WBC like it's meaningless. That way they can stretch out fighting GGG.

I hope GGG goes into full PR mode, calling Goldeboy out on this whole Ring mag partnership and creating fake MW division.

However, I think Lemieux would beat the pants off Cotto.

Better yet, it'd be Canelo who'd have the WBC.

And I don't think De La Hoya puts Lamieux and Canelo together.

Canelo can't take Lemieux power I don't think. He could surprise me. They both rehydrate into the 170's.

If GGG loses, Apple will withdraw that watch ad and Andre Ward will instantly lose most of the "fans" he has at this place.

GGG can't afford to lose this. He could come back from it, but not to where he is now. At 33yo, he wouldn't have enough time, imo.

Yeah, but he has to get past the other catchweight king, Canelo, first, remember.

If GGG loses to Lemieux he will no longer be mandatory for the WBC belt holder, so Cotto could drag him down to a catchweight along with Lee and Lemieux, if he wanted to.

As I said before, he's a very very talented boxer; I love to watch him. But, amazingly the hype has far exceeded his proven ability.

After all the hype, if he loses to anyone not called Ward or Canelo, then around the World people will look to the skies to see where that loud deflating-balloon sound is coming from.

This year he's fought twice and beaten Murray, a proven contender, and Monroe, well, just barely a contender. He's beaten them as expected, and we really don't know anymore about Golovkin than we did in January, in other words he is several notches above his B level competition. He is a knockout machine. He appears to be elite, but is he?

But in contrast, the hype has notched up to at least twice or even three times the level it was back in January. This is boxing folks, a circus driven by hype.

A fighter like Golovkin, a modern day Achilles, it takes more than a loss to derail his legacy. He is destined for greatness.

Pigeon is destined to have a tattoo of Golovkin mug on his right testicle before it's all said and done.

                  Funny mate - lol!!!!

But having read Pigeon brain for a few months now I think he'd rather be castrated.

It would be a disaster for his career and for K2. No need for anybody to fight him - he would be the MW version of Rigo. Without Belts (although Rigo is working on that).

I wonder if Team GGG are working on relieving mental pressure. Win this and the hype machine will go from overdrive into warp. Golovkin will become honorary President of Apple and United Nations Ambassador for War.

Lose and his career will be just a fraction of what it could have been. It's a lot of pressure and I wonder how he is handling it. I wonder if something similar was happening when he fought for gold?

Many are capable of greatness but few realize it.

Anyway, Lemieux might catch GGG with a big punch and knock him out cold. Why not?

... and what's next? GGG would ask for a rematch...
If GGG were to be Ko'd, his team could ask for a rematch but they wouldn't get. Lemieux would take a voluntary and a mandatory and if he still had the belt he would be lined up to fight Canelo/Cotto winner.
