Not to hate, even though it will seem like it because I criticize Golovkin so much, so no one will believe this is a genuine experience I had. But I spoke to my coworkers about the Apple Watch commercial and they did not know who he was. I was trying to get their take on the GGG-Lemiuex fight and they had no idea who either of them was, so I used the Apple Watch commercial to give them a little help and they didn't know that was aftually a pro boxer. In fact, a coworker turned the conversation into Ronda Rousey, he said "I'd **** the **** out of that UFC chick, Ronda Rousey" and a convo about how hot she is started. Lemiuex, forget it, that's a lost cause, if GGG is still unknow to Americans.

Not surprising at all. I saw the commercial and they barely show a clean face shot. And even if they did, pretty much hard core boxing fans are the only ones who would know his face. I thought they should have had a few seconds of KO highlights interspersed into the commercial, to give non-fans some context. Maybe they couldnt get the footage rights from HBO or something, who knows........

I don't see that happening but it is boxing, anything can happen in that ring. If he does...OK? Rematch! Maybe they can get a trilogy going. It would all depend on how the fight plays out to be honest. If it lives up to the hype and it is an explosive fight then yeah it could be a Trilogy, but if one of them just destroys the other then it is nothing left to see.

Don't matter if he lose, how he lose would determine everything.
