Kovalev has no problem with facing Beterbiev in the ring; however, as they are representing the light heavyweight champion, Kovalev's team were not going to enter the purse bid without knowing that they would win it and risk having Al Haymon calling the shots.

In a Friday night article on BoxingScene.com, Roc Nation executive Michael Yormark, who promotes Ward, lashed out at Golovkin's promoter, Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions - regarding Team GGG's statements regarding a potential fight with Ward.

He cant make 164, it will never happen.

Team 36-minutes know that Ward cannot make 164.

        Ward has moved on.

He just wants to set the record straight.

          Nah, they got it right.....

          Class is permanent.

All Ward had to do was put on a tracksuit and announce his comeback.

Lawyers understand the boxing game perfectly

            Ward stated that.....

            1) he never pursued a Mayweather fight

            2) that talk was meaningless twitter banter

            3) the fight was never discussed

            4) the fight was never a realistic option

            5) he obviously cannot make 160

            6) I know you know this, so why run with weak excuses ?

HW champ by 32, can beat Klitschko, Floyd at 160, ready for top 175, GGG at 50/50 next year, it's all jokes from that clown team. Threatening lawsuits via lawyer saying "Lil G", no wonder this guys career devolved into haggling for tuneups and losing lawsuits.

That's what Ward is doing: sueing people... He sued late Goosen three times, now he sues Abel because Golovkin doesn't fight him when he wants to!

Look what attorney Josh Dubin, who represents Ward, states: "... Abel crossed a line when he called him a liar. (...) Abel Sanchez would be well served to get himself an attorney, because if he continues to make comments like that or doesn't retract what he said - he'll be walking out one day to take his 'Little G' on a run and there will be a process server standing there to hand him a lawsuit."

So, Ward's lawyer wants to sue Abel for the "lier" word, while the same lawyer (???) just calls Golovkin 'Little G'...
... We have a saying in my country: ... 'night of the mind'...

What's with ******s calling GGG fan Racist

That's a serious charge, one that you shouldn't wield lightly.

Like you, just attempted to call us all racist.

Go to any site and you'll find that it breaks along racial lines.

Does that mean those who dislike GGG are racist?

Of course not, at least not overtly.

I like plenty of black fighters.

I think Spence is a smaller version of GGG, in that he fights, comes to entertain.

I don't respect anyone who throws race around so freely!

Hagler put it in layman's terms, "If you really want a fighter bad enough you'll even go to his house and fight him in his living room"
                      Right!

Cotto and Canelo fans are hiding behind Ward. It's funny.

Like the tool above who just called GGG fans racists.
