All because triple GGG is going in another direction and fighting more lucrative and worthwhile fights...so he becomes the lineal middleweight champion and bags all the middleweight titles....he has lemeuix for another title then it's gonna be canelo or cotto for massive exposure....and now because Andre the baby with dummy in his mouth ward has to look else where for career changing fights and actually has to face someone his own weight class ......kovalev, Stevenson or beterbiev lol.......this is brilliant....man up ward and face someone your won size

The illusion of "ggg needs ward because ward is a name" comes from ward fans.Ward fans want this fight badly bacause of size advantage Ward would have over ggg and so he could win.Guess why wards fans dont want Kovalev?because Kovalev is much bigger and stronger than ggg and ward will not have any advantage in this fight...thats why they are scared of their boy andre when it comes to Killa Kovalev

you really consider a site that uses an algorithm on points to be legit? there are many things to like about box rec, rankings aren't one of them in my opinion, i mean LSC and GSjr are ahead of Lomachenko on that site.

Well yeah, a guy big enough to fight in the light heavy weight division would be a fool not to jump at the opportunity to fight a guy in the middle weight division, just like Kov is jumping at the opportunity to fight Ward. Ward isn't that much smaller than Kov is but the point is the same.

The sudden increase in Ward-GGG talk sounds like Ward and his team may have demanded too much in the negotiations with HBO.

This. I don't know what more pathetic them wanting the Cotto vs Candlo winner to duck GGG or the fact that they pretend that Ward hasn't already turned the fight down numerous times.

Also people are pretending that GGG vs Canelo isn't the biggest fight in boxing and that the winner will more than likely crown the next p4p king.
