This is ridiculous. Fighting in the courtroom but not fighting in the ring? If it is sent to arbitration, I'll wager that they make the fight at 164. After all, Andre Ward got to fight Chad Dawson at 168.

He cant make 164, it will never happen.

They are speaking of lies when this article refers to Ward as a "Super Middle Weight King" when he was beyond the limits of the SMW division in his last fight and has allegedly made the official jump to LHW. I call foul and someone will be hearing from my lawyer because of false advertising.

Floyd was a 2x, unified, lineal, reigning champ at 154. GGG offered to drop down in weight and challenge for his belts. What's the problem? Did Ward offer top drop down and challenge for GGGs? No, he said 160 for Floyd.

1) he never pursued a Mayweather fight

2) that talk was meaningless twitter banter

3) the fight was never discussed

4) the fight was never a realistic option

5) he obviously cannot make 160

It's hearsay and you can only sue for defamation if you are harmed in a physical or financial way due to the false claims of others which have to be proven to be false. Sounds like crying on their parts because the negotiations with HBO aren't going as planned......looks like it's back to plan B (GGG) for them.

Please explain how it is hearsay when Sanchez said it to a reporter..

That's what Ward is doing: sueing people... He sued late Goosen three times, now he sues Abel because Golovkin doesn't fight him when he wants to!

Look what attorney Josh Dubin, who represents Ward, states: "... Abel crossed a line when he called him a liar. (...) Abel Sanchez would be well served to get himself an attorney, because if he continues to make comments like that or doesn't retract what he said - he'll be walking out one day to take his 'Little G' on a run and there will be a process server standing there to hand him a lawsuit."

So, Ward's lawyer wants to sue Abel for the "lier" word, while the same lawyer (???) just calls Golovkin 'Little G'...
