Lol that's rich coming from a guy with that sig, cheering on the "Lil G" clown posse.Comment

Nothing wrong with jokes. I always speak highly of both of their abilities and backed them in their situations with Stevenson and Quillin. Back then all of your gullible groupies were kissing my ass.Comment

It would be different if they and Team Golovkin just said, "We are waiting to see if Golovkin can fight the Cotto/Alvarez winner. Until then Ward is not an option." No one besides some obsessed haters would have a problem with that because it's smart.
But nope, Golovkin's fans and management are trying desperately to paint Ward both as an unfair monstrously sized light heavyweight who is unfair to expect Golovkin to fight and a nobody bum with a weak chin who does absolutely nothing for Golovkin's career. It's pure fear. You don't talk a fighter like Ward down and make this many excuses unless you're scared of what happens if he fought Golovkin.
I keep saying it, Golovkin's fans seem to have zero confidence in him. I can't remember who it was yesterday that said this is just the same fans who saw Pacquiao lose to Mayweather and Matthysse lose to Garcia and don't want to see another "exciting" fighter they get off over lose like that.Comment

Oh right, the "gullible groupies" thing. Even when you're trying to stake some high ground comically after all these comedowns, you just can't help yourself.Comment

They did, then came "Lil G", "36 minutes" etc. Can you finally answer:It would be different if they and Team Golovkin just said, "We are waiting to see if Golovkin can fight the Cotto/Alvarez winner. Show me one fighter in boxing that went up in weight to fight a division+ bigger p4p #2, who's the distant B side yet wants purse parity. How about when you got your first unification lined up on HBO PPV, and a megafight for 3 belts + lineal in the pipeline? Any examples there?Comment

I can't relate to that. That's probably why I'm so baffled. It would be different if they and Team Golovkin just said, "We are waiting to see if Golovkin can fight the Cotto/Alvarez winner. I was pissed when Rigondeaux didn't move up to fight Lomachenko. I even wanted Floyd to move up and fight Lara just to shut people up. I also hate that Ward made Dawson come down giving up the chance to be lineal champion in 2 weight classes.
I guess I grew up in the De La Hoya/May/Pac/Roy era so I expect fighters to move up and push their limits. This new breed of micromanaging fighters careers and careful matchmaking is something I have to get used to.Comment

except they're not, they're sending out mixed messages, one minute they want more than 50% of the purse bid, the next minute he's not relevant.
To me its sounds like they're stringing Ward along in case the fight between Cotto/Canelo winner doesn't happen.Comment

But you can relate to a p4p #1 (IYO) needing 3 tuneups to go up 3lbs to give us a fight you and most posters deem much more competitive than Ward vs GGG. It's called cognitive dissonanceI can't relate to that. That's probably why I'm so baffled.
