The article says they sent an offer prior to knowing about Lemieux and said they would have one fight before fighting each other and justifies it saying the Lemieux fight could still go on and the next fight is Andre Ward in 2016.

However Golovkin's team main goal has always been unifying the titles and he has the WBC's word that the next WBC Middleweight title fight is a defense against Golovkin.

People will just say "Cotto/Canelo won't fight GGG so GGG should just fight Ward"

Ahh so it wasn't what you said before. Glad you realized that.

Why are you bringing up Floyd? The guy who moved up to 135 and fought the best there in his first fight? Was that business? Keep it real.

Here we go the business people throwing jabs back and forth so they don't seem like one dropped the ball. Fight ain't happening Ward is fighting at 175 next, Golovkin has Lemieux in front of him. NEXT!

Same reason GGG kept calling out Mayweather i guess

                      A) Let's just see this email already. Lemeiux/Golovkin was in the works the Monday after Ward/Smith took place and facing the winner of Alvarez/Cotto in 2016 has been the #1 priority before that even. Team Golovkin's not committing to another fight until they know they aren't getting that one next year.

                      B) Let's see what Ward really does in his next step. Yorkman blabbers about Ward only fighting the best when he just fought an unranked contender in Paul Smith. We're 6 weeks out from the Alvarez/Cotto card, if he does fight he's giving his opponent short notice.

                      C) It took Yorkman 2 weeks to respond - nice job fella.
