  • Well there you have it.

Roc Nation offered ggg's team a fight for early-mid 2016, which would be a fight after lemieux & of course the winner of Cotto-Canelo, and it was turned down asap.

but they'll fight anyone 154-168 cuz its "hard" to get lil g some fights.

Willie Monroe Jr is more known than lara.

defends his WBA 160 lbs title vs 154 lbs gabe rosado.

ggg has fought ONE undefeated opponent.

former world champs ggg fought: 2 Geale & Ouma(154 lbs ibf champ)

but this is the guy that's "one of the best middleweights ever"

And of course it would have to be at Ward's preferred weight.

The smugly arrogant Ward might travel to fight a journeyman on the Cotto-Alvarez undercard, but he will definitely not leave Oakland to fight a top talent like Golovkin. Despite being a much bigger man, Ward will lose to GGG unless he has a lot of help from a ref (Ward may even lose with a crooked referee against the smaller but much more talented GGG).

Ward is a selfish prima donna who demanded home advantage for all his fights in the Super Six and who has refused to do random PED testing (maybe because he wouldn't be strong enough to clamp his opponents' arms without PEDs?)

probably Pat Russell or Jon Schorle

        Now it's 3 divisions

Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. GGG moving up to 168 and beating Ward is as big a win as there is out there right now. That would make him king.

Golovkin beat Bute and Dirrell in the amateurs, he's clearly fighting in the wrong division

Lemieux AND the Cotto-Canelo winner would be 2 fights, the Roc offer was for only 1 interim fight. Basically Roc is asking GGG to forget all about the Cotto-Canelo winner and fight Ward instead for 50-50. Yeah, right, thats a GREAT deal.....lol

its called NEGOTIATIONS... isn't that what YOU GGGroupies calling it? "oh the 50-50 & 164 lbs is to start negotiations" blah blah blah

                  well guess what?

Article proves that they didn't even wanna bother to negotiate a fight with Ward at all.

What? They couldn't say, "well fight ward after we fight the winner of cotto-canelo"?

Why not imo that's a great idea. If ggg beats them, he'll be the lineal champ at 160.

lineal champ at 160 vs lineal champ at 168? sounds good to me........

oh wait they didn't even bother to negotiate.

However Golovkin's team main goal has always been unifying the titles and he has the WBC's word that the next WBC Middleweight title fight is a defense against Golovkin.

People will just say "Cotto/Canelo won't fight GGG so GGG should just fight Ward"
The article also says that they didn't even bother to talk to roc nation. They just flat out refuse the offer.

Why not offer the fight with Ward AFTER he fights Cotto-Canelo winner?

the Lemieux fight was signed, and they are mando for Cotto-Canelo winner. ANY deal stipulating a revenue split now for a fight that is 6-12 months away at the earliest is a non-starter. Loeffler was actually being polite by even refusing it. Truthfully it didnt even deserve a reply.
