    It's not a "trick question".

It's a simple question. Which would you rather see in 2016 after Canelo?

GGG-Johnson in an IBF mando and GGG vs. Lee in a unification at 160.

Or GGG vs. Andre Ward for the lineal championship at 168.

    Pick one.

that is a complete falsehood, and would have been 100% impossible to do. But hey, keep believing it was possible, as that fantasy supports your position.

in that limited scenario, probably GGG-Ward at 168.

But thats not the choice we are presented with. Lets ask the ACTUAL question that is really out there.

Which fight would you prefer for 2016:

        GGG-Johnson and then possibly GGG-Canelo

        or GGG-Ward

I'll tell you this. I choose even the possibility of a canelo fight over the ward fight. Every day of the week and twice on Sunday

How, when and why would he fight Johnson before Canelo?

A Canelo fight would be in May and would be a unification which supersedes a mandatory.

So Canelo in May and Ward later in the year.

          What's the issue?

because I dont think he will get Canelo in May. (I hope he does, but I doubt it) I suspect Canelo will offer a deal to fight someone else on cinco de mayo, and fight GGG in Sept. In the meantime GGG gets rid of the IBF mando and tries to get the Lee-Saunders winner. But who knows what Canelo will do? Maybe he'll vacate. Maybe itll go to purse bid. We will know in the next 15 days......

So GGG is allowed to continue fighting cream puffs in the "hope" that Canelo will fight him.

I already laid out a pretty comprehensive scenario of why it wasnt possible, as I have dealt with sanctioning bodies personally, and am pretty familiar with their rules and procedures.

                  You disagreed.

Its a free country brother. You can believe whatever you like. If you think its possible he could have pulled off the Ward deal and still kept his 160 titles and position, then you're alot smarter than me because I can see NO WAY that its possible.

Nothing wrong with K2 telling Roc Nation that they would want to fight Canelo in May (?) and to push back the Ward fight to the second half of 2016.

Of course, they didn't do that. They rejected it in 5 minutes and said "maybe 2017".
Why would you commit to any number before fighting Canelo, never mind 50/50? If Canelo happens in May, Ward is lucky to get 25%. Obvious scam

right, because Im sure its his preference to NOT get the Canelo fight.
