Abel Sanchez - "Andre Ward's a liar"

Sanchez is pissed at Ward's lackadaisical behaviour.
Sanchez also chimes in that Ward is always changing his position on the situation and attempting to regulate their side of the fence.
"Andre Ward has been going back and forth on what he wants," Sanchez told BoxingScene.com.
"He can't make up his mind. He had the deal with Dan Goossen where he went to court and lost three times. Now he has the deal with Roc Nation Sports and says he wants three tune-ups before he fights us. We as the Golovkin team can't wait with what Andre wants to do. All these things that are happening for us now have been planned already."

I already laid out a pretty comprehensive scenario of why it wasnt possible, as I have dealt with sanctioning bodies personally, and am pretty familiar with their rules and procedures.
You disagreed.
Its a free country brother. You can believe whatever you like. If you think its possible he could have pulled off the Ward deal and still kept his 160 titles and position, then you're alot smarter than me because I can see NO WAY that its possible.
I do. ggg has pull.
It's like taking a voluntary. Fighters do it all the time. All he woulda had to do had he won vs Ward is vacate the straps. And if he did lose his mando spot all he has to do is fight a Monroe or Johnson to get it back. Don't really see where the problem is.Comment

well he wouldnt have gotten a "mando" spot back with the WBC, thats for sure. He only got that WBC interim title via a fluke when Cotto didnt want to fight Rubio so the WBC let Rubio fight GGG instead. Sure, he might be able to convince Canelo to fight him later in an ordinary unification, but without the leverage of the mandatory spot, I think its doubtful that canelo would do it.I do. ggg has pull.

In February, in Monaco, to get a mando out of the way. SimpleComment

Show encouragement? Wtf is that? Team Ward came to him with a laughable 50/50 offer for next year, a joke.
Ward fans are fine with him vs Kov maybe in 2017, so not sure why the whiningComment
-
If it was a joke then negotiate it. Right now 50/50 is more than fair since GGG proved he wasn't a PPV draw.
Kovalev vs. Ward is agreed to. "Inevitable" according to both camps. No "maybes" about it.Comment

No dude 50/50 is not fair since Ggg is a way bigger draw. Neither Ward nor Rohan Murdock can sell a PPV, does it mean 50/50 is in order there?
I heard "if and when", " hopefully" from Wards camp, so not inevitable. A lot can happen in a year, esp when one of the guys is so injury prone, litigious, and feels forced into itComment

A similar deal could have been worked out if Golovkin had wanted it. But the powers that be protected Little G and now he's safe.
