      That's the point...

It's called learning from your mistakes and it's a good trait to have. He's had PPV blunders with bad match ups and no following before so now he doesn't want to do that now.

Garcia handled half of the current front runners though, Bob? Outside of Mayweatjer and Bradley, Pac should have been facing better opponents, period.

Like 3-4 years ago and doesn't actually address what Arum said about being competitive in 2016.

I don't think you understand that KOing a guy 4 years ago (and looked terrible pretty much since overall) doesn't mean you'll be competitive against another fighter 4 years from when you did that.

Garcia looked real good at his WW debut , sharp and very strong and its common knowledge he has struggled with JWW for awhile now , dont underestimate what training to make weight can do to a young growing fighter , Garcia has a good following and would be a good fight for Manny and Danny would beat any of Mannys last opponents bar Bradley and Floyd .

I'm not denying he isn't good. He's a top fighter of course. But clearly his last 4 fights will not generate enough public interest and the guy you last beat was Paulie (though he had 3 other classified WW fights and arguably lost 2 of them). Whether or not he performed bad because of possible weight issues, his performance can't just be erased and that will affect viewer ship as well as perception with regards to competitiveness. Him beating Khan at 140 but looking bad most of the time isn't going to be enough to say he should get the nod over Khan, who's fought at WW a few times and looked impressive for the most part (win a win against a top 10 fighter)

Even IF the small chance Garcia does draw the same amount, the fact that he's been the inferior fighter the past 2 years despite beating Khan and Lucas clearly puts him behind Khan and Lucas.

So factor in the money brought in, competitiveness, and who deserves it more, Garcia at the back any way you look at it. Beating Salka and Paulie and barely squeezing (though most thought he lost) by Peterson and Herrera puts you nowhere near the of anyone's list.

Whether or not I like Garcia doesn't change anything I said. Just because you don't want to accept it doesn't mean I have to "admit" anything (irrelevant in this case too).
It is absolutely relevent because your rational is unsupported. In the US Danny Garcia is more popular than both Khan and Matthysse. You weren't discussing opponents before. So lets scratch popularity because Garcia got that. Now for opponents, Khans' list is weak so we can also scratch him. Now that just leaves Matthysse, who is far less popular, has losses, one of which to Danny Garcia. Danny Garcia who is u defeated, and will bring large support to a PPV event, which means more money for everyone. So if you want to base it on latest opponents yes Matthysse should get the nod. However, if you want to base it on name, popularity, and who will bring in the most money then that's Danny Garcia. If you want to go on just name alone (and biggest mouth) it's Khan.

Also please explain to me how Garcia was the "inferior" fighter.

Before you answer and prove you don't like Garcia let me point this out; he got a close decision against Herrera who is not an easy out, a close decision against peterson whos no push over, annihilated Salka like he was supposed too, and defeated Malignaggi easily with out braking a sweat, again, like he was supposed too. Again how is Garcia inferior?

I dont agree with your way of thinking , I think Danny is a good fight and a dangerous fight for Manny , they cant slam Garcia and then justify Rios off loses and Algieri , Garcia has the pedigree and the fanbase .

We will just agree to disagree .
