Top Rank CEO Bob Arum explained that he won't consider Danny Garcia as a possible option for Manny Pacquiao's next return - because he says the Philadelphia fighter would be battered in a one-sided bout by the former eight division world champion.

Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, would love to get Garcia in the ring for his fighter. Arum won't even list him as an option.

The saddest thing about Danny fighting and struggling with his last couple of hand picked Cherry's is he actually does superb in fights where there's a viable threat in front of him . If he's up against a can he's in trouble . Because of this dynamic , him and PAC will actually be a really good fight .

for all the hate Garcia gets on these forums, Khan is more deserving than him? Garcia HAS a following and is a respectable draw as is Khan, I'd bet Khan has a bigger following but not one that would make it seem like Garcia isnt comparable, with everything consirdered Garcia is a way better option.

An argument can be rightfullly made that Marquez won all 4 fights against Pacquiao, and that Pacquiao received 3 gift decisions. You can disagree all you want, but you cant dispute that an argument can be made

This fight probably doesn't do the amount of profit a Khan, Matthysse or Marquez (though he's pretty much crossed out) fight would.

Danny Garcia has either fought bums or got gifts against his last 3-4 opponents, has no real following, no charisma and no character.
