I feel many people are just going along with this because others are jumping on the Gonzalez bandwagon and they don't want to be viewed as fans who only watch heavier divisions. They want to appear more hardcore than casual.

Probably can't name more than 3 of his opponents or their accomplishments/credentials

You don't get any favours in the boxing world when you've beat nobodies like who ummm Smith and?

Andre Ward is on verge to enter maybe top 20 with another fight but what weighs on him making top 10 is him fighting someone like DeGale or maybe... pfft its hard to say the 168 division is dead.
Its either get a big fight with GGG at catchweight or wait for Golovkin to throw you a bone or go to 175lbs for him to make any real statement for top 3.

Boxrec top 10 isn't fully correct but the top 5 is right.
He cleaned out 168 and knocked out the light heavyweight champion he done enough to stay in the top 3 who would you put ahead of him?

          Top middlewight southpaws

Andy Lee(who GGG wouldve faced if not for the death of his dad btw)
          Willie Monroe
          Billy Joe Saunders
          Korobov
          Heiland

Full time fighters who have all been hyped prospects and some with extensive amateur backgrounds.

          Top flyweight southpaws

          Full time filipino construction workers.....

          keep denying the truth.
Ok. So who has GGG beaten that's better than Estrada? Nobody. Even with a bigger.....not even talent pool because one you pass 50 it's pretty pointless..... So let's call it...diluted field of fighters....he still has an inferior resume.

Yoy mentioned Heiland in a convo about talent pools.

You know what is also annoying, sensitive casuals who hate being called out for their lack of knowledge

Not about knowing more than the next fans or to question the next fans on his knowledge of the sport of boxing. If I see BS I will call it out and trying to question Gonzalez status as one of the Best P4P if Utter Bull**** and it is fans of other fighters looking for ways to downgrade Gonzalez so they can elevate their favorite fighter higher.
So get hostile then you c%nt a55-***g*t ball cheese eating motherf#cker!

F@ck you and your **** opinion. If you knew how to read and write or had any comprehension skills, then you would understand that I said nothing about him not being a P4P top 10 fighter, just that he doesn't belong at the top of the list. But back to my remark to your st^pid a55, P4P does matter and experts opinions matter a whole lot more than yours, specifically.

              So.....

Crawl in a hole and die b#tch. Right after you get your sorry a55 out of my thread.

I don't think he should be #1 but not because he lacks a great win, just that IMO wlad deserves it.
                My sentiments exactly.

Shinsuke Yamanaka might get dropped off the rankings after that last fight, wonder who would replace him.

Perfect and factual definition of a P4P ranking is based on who you think would win a matchup if all fighters were in the same weight class.

                    Thank you very much.

While it's still just my opinion, I feel like Ward is the best fighter based on that logic.

Ah I agree that he shouldn't have to redo his whole resume but he should have to at least prove that he's fighting at the level he was before. Fighting Paul Smith didn't do it for me personally, so I wouldn't put him as number 2 right now but give him one good win and I might be willing to place him that high.
