There is no what ifs. He's defeated Froch, Kessler, Abraham and others. You don't want him on the list because you are a GGG fan. That's why going back and forth is pointless.

I don't want him on the list because he has done nothing worthy in almost 4 years. And you don't get rewarded because of what you are capable of. How many football teams are capable of winning the Superbowl? How many are given the trophy and a ring because they were 'capable' of winning? NONE. Ward is 'capable' of becoming the undisputed SMW champion. But unless he meets the other title holders in the ring and defeats them, he will not be the undisputed champion, will he?

He has to prove he belongs on that list by what he does in the ring. In the last 4 years he has done nothing to deserve being on the list at any position, much less at number 2.

And if Golovkin was to sit on his ass for four years I would say the same thing about him. Or any other fighter in the world. I also think that Rigo does not belong on the list as he does not have enough fights and is not active enough either.

Didn't Mayweather come out of a 2 year layoff, beat Marquez and get the number 2 spot as well? We all know Ward is quite arguably the best fighter right now, nothing to complain about.

Marquez was arguably the #2 P4P guy at the time Floyd fought him. Paul Smith isn't even ranked. I don't know what GGG is doing there being that his resume isn't that great.
