This is true , and if Floyd beat him at 154 he would be given no credit at all just the same if GGG beat Ward at 164 , in todays climate you cant have top guys coming down in weight and expect to get full credit for a win its just not going to happen , if Floyd was to fight him its got to be 160 and same for GGG Ward its got to be 168 .

For one, Cotto would have the MW belt, why should it be at 155. You say that's GGG's fault, because Cotto/Canelo are pretenders. That's makes no sense at all.

Froch is a 168 fighter, Ward has been a LHW for awhile. GGG knows this. Ward even said he walks around at 180. He'd be 185-190 on fight night.

And besides, Froch isn't the same as Ward. Ward would use that extra weight to clinch and hold GGG's arms.

Why should he fight for the LINEAL MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE at a catchweight? It's the MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE, not the 155 title. Either you are a middleweight champion or you are not. Champions defend their title at the division limit. And it is all totally irrelevant because whoever wins that fight CANNOT DEMAND A CATCHWEIGHT FOR A MANDATORY DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's nothing wrong with my comment at all. Why in the **** would GGG move up to revive Ward's career, when he is finally getting a break himself? After starting his career with **** promoters and not being given a shot at anything for the first six years of his careers, he finally gets a shot at big opportunities at Middleweight and now he has to move up?
