For one, Cotto would have the MW belt, why should it be at 155. You say that's GGG's fault, because Cotto/Canelo are pretenders. That's makes no sense at all.

      • Little G!! Lmfao that's funny but Ward need Golovkin bad!! He's irrelevant right about now without him. No dance partners at 168 and he's fronting on 175. His career now revolves around Little G. Smh

But Ward bringing Dawson down to 168 counts.

So by your logic, Ward quite literally hasn't done jack in two years. He is a has been.

Everybody wants to fight Floyd because of the money and Floyd is not a hurtful fighter , its nothing more than calling out the top guy with no physical risk , its what they are supposed to do , if GGG can call out Floyd at 154 he shouldnt baulk at Cotto Canelo at 155 , but he will .
Umm, you have no idea what Floyd ways on fight night, he hides it. And at best, him needing the IV indicates he is bigger than he is leading on.

Floyd is a genuiine P4P fighter, so he fought those guys at 154 anyway.

Golovkin was happy to fight at 168 when Froch told him to.

Golovkin was happy to fight at 168 when Chavez told him to.

But Golovkin was NOT happy to fight at 168 when..... you know how it goes.
Froch is a 168 fighter, Ward has been a LHW for awhile. GGG knows this. Ward even said he walks around at 180. He'd be 185-190 on fight night.

And besides, Froch isn't the same as Ward. Ward would use that extra weight to clinch and hold GGG's arms.

What is it that is so difficult for some fools around here to understand about this? How can you be so dense?
Because not only are they delusional, their hate clouds their judgement.
Somehow demanding a MW title fight be at the MW 160 is ducking.

They are just making it clear that reason isn't a strong part of their boxing analysis.

Golovkin had no problem fighting Chavez at 168.

Golovkin did not make " too big " excuses for those guys, and both of those guys are BIGGER than Ward

Golovkin wasnt going to " move up " for those guys, he was going to fight them.

You mean, Ward should not attempt to hold Team Golovkin to their word?

            I'm sure you would

Luckily for you, Ward/Duva have already discussed it.

Would it be more convenient for you and Gennady if Ward move up now?
GGG didn't have a ppv headline unification fight at 160 cooking when he tried to make fights with Froch and Chavez. Different time, different circumstances, different outcome.

Or to put it another way: A side now, bro.

True, Roc are talking to Duva over Ward/Kovalev. They've blown a lot of money on Ward since he signed with them and they want to get some of it back.

Andre himself didn't seem so keen on the idea in that interview of his though. It's not going to happen. Ward won't fight Kovalev.

Ward is so delusional he is now demanding PPV money from Cotto/Canelo. LOL!

I imagine Goldenboy just may give it to him to try to up his exposure and use it to try to have Canelo duck GGG

I dont care about the tin as much as I care about the guys holding it , Cotto has no right fighting at MW just that he is a great lower weight fighter and got away with it through picking the right guy at the right time , point is people hold these smaller guys to all these standards but give GGG a clear pass from doing what they expect others to do .

I really like GGG but he is a protected species while taking shots at other .

i'm fine with with cleaning out divisions...but u can skip out one fight to have a p4p vs p4p match up right?
he planned on going back to the division when he was willing to fight froch and others at 160...he knows it wont bother him...

i dont favor either guy neither is a favorite fighter, but damn its a hell of a match but 70% of this board, including you, are *****footing around it
There's nothing wrong with my comment at all. Why in the **** would GGG move up to revive Ward's career, when he is finally getting a break himself? After starting his career with **** promoters and not being given a shot at anything for the first six years of his careers, he finally gets a shot at big opportunities at Middleweight and now he has to move up? GGG has a bigger fight at 160 than fighting Ward. Also, wasn't it you haters that said GGG shouldn't be on the P4P list? Now that it benefits you, now all of the sudden he's a "p4p champ", GTFO.

I find it funny, I always said Ward needed GGG not the other way around, then you haters always replied with, "but, but, but Ward's resume doe, GGG needs Ward to validate his hype". If GGG needs Ward then why is that Ward fans are always the ones that sound so desperate trying to make everything about GGG and Ward and how they need to fight. You guys are the ones that are trying to make this whole situation into Mayweather-Pacquiao. You start off by making assumptions that all GGG fans were Pacquiao fans. I'm not even a Pac fan, I can't speak about other GGG fans, but I really never cared about Pac.

So **** Ward and the haters, GGG should just keep doing him. Ward can do whatever he wants with his career.
Hopefully, GGG tries to break the record for most title defenses at Middleweight.
That'll stall the Ward fight even more and make you haters even angrier haha. Also, seeing GGG with the record would infuriate you guys so much, it'll be hilarious.

                  WAR GGG!!!!!

Naw pussie!! Just showing ggg is not the boogy man like they say. Lara and Ward have been chasing this dude for almost a year now. Lil g's opposition to this point is not popular than Lara or Ward nor nearly as good as then either. I know your lame ass doesn't want it!!

                    • Really funny when Ward's fans talk with great amusement how their fighter will beat a smaller fighter's @ss.

That is how great Ward is. Desperate for a fight against a smaller fighter.

If he is so good, why don't he challenge himself and fight someone bigger.

As much as I dislike Mayweather, at least this guy fought others bigger than him.
