The truth is Floyd moved up 3 divisions, where he's hidden ouit for most of the last decade. Dragging up Hatton and Pacquiao. Cherry picking a few big money fights at 154 when he felt like it.

    What "discrepancies?"

Thank goodness you hold Ward to the same standard. Oh wait.
I see you cant add , and I also see you dont take into account fight night weight and its funny how you said Manny was going to destroy him and now its poor ol Manny , sour g****s never looks credible rather just sour g****s .

And he was surprised they turned it down?

GGG is fully booked at 160, and could be unified champ by the end of next year, if he keeps winning. He isn't going to be moving up to 168 till that business is concluded.
      Stop it willya.

Golovkin had no problem fighting Froch at 168.

Golovkin had no problem fighting Chavez at 168.

Golovkin did not make " too big " excuses for those guys, and both of those guys are BIGGER than Ward

Golovkin wasnt going to " move up " for those guys, he was going to fight them.

You mean, Ward should not attempt to hold Team Golovkin to their word?

      I'm sure you would

Luckily for you, Ward/Duva have already discussed it.

Would it be more convenient for you and Gennady if Ward move up now?

Remember when Hopkins fought that former 130 lb champ, Hagler fought that former 135 lb champ and Mayweather fought that former 112 lb champ (8 divisions above that weight?) Nobody ever called those 3 cowards for doing so. Different standards for GGG, I wonder why?

GGG can really box I cant figure people thinking he is only a puncher he has top level boxing skills no doubt .
GGG does not care about Cotto, he just wants the title he carries. Cotto can vacate the title and walk away and Golovkin would be just fine with that. It would not be much of a fight in any case. Chavez JR. and Froch were both big money and big publicity fights and both were PPV level. Ward is low money, no viewership and no PPV. A Ward fight would have been good 4 years ago when Golovkin first came to the US.

Now after almost 4 years of basically inactivity, Ward is no longer a factor. He is not a draw and had to take his last fight to a time buy on BET because the major networks rejected him and the money he was asking. Now it seems he will be fighting on the UNDERCARD of a PPV match against another empty tomato can. He has nothing to offer Golovkin at all.

I feel bad for Canelo because having Ward on the card will probably drive some fans away from buying the PPV instead of attracting them.

When you start at 130, you move up 4 divisions to get to 154. Not 5.

I never said Manny would destroy Mayweather, least of all the shot, one armed version that he fought. I just try to help morons stay consistent with their arguments. You're welcome.

Despite what the latest crop of casual fans seem to think.

Ward is a SMW..... not only has Ward has never fought AT LHW, he has never fought A LHW...... Dawson was a SMW when he fought Ward.

Ward is 31yo, and has been inactive/injured..... the 2 tuneup fights will help him make weight comfortably.

                172 > 170 > 168.

Dude, SMW means you weigh in at 168 or below the day before the fight. Ward had a CW of 172, which you noted above is greater than the limit for the SMW division.

Now you tell me what it means to weigh in for a fight above the division? What division is directly above the 168 pound division, is there a Super-Duper Middle Weight division? No, there is only LHW, which is 175 or less at the weigh in, the exact criteria that Ward fulfilled in his last fight.

                  We can figure that out.

Nobody has a problem with Mayweather/Golovkin at 154.

If you can make 154, you are fair game, and you will be beaten by Mayweather.

The thing is, like Ward alluded..... Golovkin has hoodwinked his fans.

I firmly believe that Cotto will be stripped because Team Golovkin will refuse to give him a catchweight..... and I believe that the Mayweather fight would fall through for the exact same reason.

GGG would never agree to 154 imho, because he cant make the weight.

If/when Golovkin refuses to give Cotto a catchweight, we will no longer have to listen to that rubbish about Golovkin beating Mayweather at 154.

Ward is a very big fight because people know the challenge and quality of that fight , its short sited to suggest GGG Ward is a low money poor PPV fight , it would sell big dont underestimate the public for hooking into a really good fight .

This is true , and if Floyd beat him at 154 he would be given no credit at all just the same if GGG beat Ward at 164 , in todays climate you cant have top guys coming down in weight and expect to get full credit for a win its just not going to happen , if Floyd was to fight him its got to be 160 and same for GGG Ward its got to be 168 .
