You call other people "casual fans" yet you don't even understand that weight LIMITS are not the same as weight DIVISIONS.

The limits define the divisions, which fall in between them.

Ward HAS fought AT LHW. 172 is AT LHW, because it is heavier than 168, but lighter than 175.

Get it?

Dawson was a super middleweight when he fought Ward, and Ward was a light heavyweight when he fought Paul Smith. You can't have it both ways.

You are a LHW, when you undertake a full training camp to prepare for a fight where the MAXIMUM weight limit is 175lbs.

Less than 175, is at best, a catchweight fight.

A CW fight within the LHW range, but a CW fight nonetheless.

But jeez kid, how ****** can you be..... Ward is 31yo, was inactive/injured, and so has decided to take a couple of tune-up fights to get his weight on point more easily.

This is proven by Wards statement that he is staying at SMW.

GGG is 170 + in the ring , Floyd is around 150-155 , if Floyd were to win you would be the first to discredit him for a drained GGG so really its just a pile of political BS .

Everybody wants to fight Floyd because of the money and Floyd is not a hurtful fighter , its nothing more than calling out the top guy with no physical risk , its what they are supposed to do , if GGG can call out Floyd at 154 he shouldnt baulk at Cotto Canelo at 155 , but he will .

I like Triple G, but he is not a complete boxer. If you watch him carefully, he really can't fight in the middle of the ring. He only lets those bombs go when he's got his guy cornered. Plus, to me his speed is average, maybe slightly above avg for a 160 lb fighter. he has Ko'd C-level fighters, who have no power to really hurt them as he walks them down. With that being said, I believe his camp knows he would simply get outclassed by Andre Ward. I believe he would get outclassed by Ward. Why everyone's kissing this dude's you know what, he better be real careful vs David Lemeuix. If Willie Monroe Jr can hit and **** you out in the middle of the ring when you were clearly tired in round 5, this guy Lemiux with his power and speed might have Triple G looking at the ceiling lights. If that scenario happens, all the Triple G nut riders will know this guy was a fraud to began with.

Some good points there, but Lemieux really isn't that good.

I think that Golovkin will KO him inside 6, possibly sooner.

Did Floyd move up when the time was right for him, or when some guy in a heavier division told him to?

Mayweather did not avoid a threat by waiting to " move up ".

Floyd is a genuiine P4P fighter, so he fought those guys at 154 anyway.

Golovkin was happy to fight at 168 when Froch told him to.

But Golovkin was NOT happy to fight at 168 when..... you know how it goes.

Ward is a very big fight because people know the challenge and quality of that fight , its short sited to suggest GGG Ward is a low money poor PPV fight , it would sell big dont underestimate the public for hooking into a really good fight .

Floyd is such a big draw that he could not fill the arena for his last fight in his backyard by giving away free tickets and he had to show the fight on a BET time buy because not one major network thought he was worth the money. And considering the viewer numbers he pulled, the networks were right to reject him. No one wants to watch Ward. He is boring in the ring. He is boring out of the ring. He is just a dull and boring man. No one cares about him.

I would like to know how you take can't sell tickets or even give them away and cannot get viewers on free TV to watch him and turn that into great PPV numbers. Are you a wizard?

Actually he moved up 4 divisions and has refused to fight the best fighters in that division for years. He went back down and fought Berto doe. TBE doe.

The truth is Floyd moved up 3 divisions, where he's hidden ouit for most of the last decade. Dragging up Hatton and Pacquiao. Cherry picking a few big money fights at 154 when he felt like it.

Why should he fight for the LINEAL MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE at a catchweight? It's the MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE, not the 155 title. Either you are a middleweight champion or you are not. Champions defend their title at the division limit. And it is all totally irrelevant because whoever wins that fight CANNOT DEMAND A CATCHWEIGHT FOR A MANDATORY DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few weeks ago, Loeffler denied that there were ever negotiations for a possible fight between the two sides. Ward claims a formal 50-50 offer was made, and he has proof by way of email, and says the offer was rejected in five minutes and he was told that 'maybe in 2017' the fight can happen.
