Ward is 31yo, and has been inactive/injured..... the 2 tuneup fights will help him make weight comfortably.

Like the article says, Ward sent Loeffler this "offer" a week before the ppv unification fight between GGG/Lemieux was announced.

And he was surprised they turned it down?

GGG is fully booked at 160, and could be unified champ by the end of next year, if he keeps winning. He isn't going to be moving up to 168 till that business is concluded.

That's just the way it is, and Ward should accept it and cut out the "he said she said" crap.

GGG isn't an option, but Kovalev definitely is. I'd like to hear Andre talking about a fight that could happen, if he wanted it, rather than one that can't.

So what Andre is saying he offered a man a fight while that man was already negotiating a better situation....which by Andre's own admission was announced a week after he made his offer....and it got turned down. I mean those are his own words...so why exactly is he talking shhh for? Andre last fought on June 20th, Golovkin in May..so during all that time you couldn't make an offer? Weak trash talking if you ask me. HBO offered ward the fight and it didn't suit him but now everyone else should jump up when it doesn't suit them because Ward said so. Fk off.

You call other people "casual fans" yet you don't even understand that weight LIMITS are not the same as weight DIVISIONS.

The limits define the divisions, which fall in between them.

Ward HAS fought AT LHW. 172 is AT LHW, because it is heavier than 168, but lighter than 175.

Get it?

Dawson was a super middleweight when he fought Ward, and Ward was a light heavyweight when he fought Paul Smith. You can't have it both ways.
