They pulled out of a purse bid that Duva herself asked for.

Then Duva made it clear that she would pull out of any future purse bids.

I'd say shes blocking the fight as of now though you could definitely say that Haymon blocked it earlier when the fight was first being talked about.

Haymon would out bid HBO for this fight, which means both boxers would make far more money fighting under PBC then on HBO. What mathematical equation are you using to justify that 50/50 of HBO's lower sum is more than 50/50 of PBC's higher sum? Why is Duva ok with kovalev fighting for less money with HBO, rather than letting the fight go to a purse bid, and may the highest bidder win. Remember it was Duva that pulled out.

I don't like Stevenson's attitude and wimpy track record since getting the title but regards negotiations you are correct. Kovalev needs to put pressure on Duva and he won't do that as he has a lot to be thankful for towards her as she took him from obscurity to where he is now.

Kovalev could have fought Stevenson for a lot of money before signing his HBO contract. He could have then went back to HBO with all 4 belts. Instead he decided to sign with HBO knowing that it killed any chance of a Stevenson fight. Both of these guys are pieces of ****. I can't wait for Ward to dethrone Kovalev.

Haymon could put up a bigger purse, but with HBO, they would get the ppv income on top of the purse. That's how GGG/Lemieux will be funded.

After the ppv was added to the guaranteed purse, Stevenson and Kovalev could end up earning more for fighting on HBO than PBC.

Whatever, Kovalev can only fight on HBO. So it has to be there or nowhere.

Beterbiev fight fell apart so right now Kovalev don't have a fight. Why can't this fight be made by the end of the year with Beterbiev vs Barrera on the same card

Again like I posted in another thread, HBO shouldn't get this fight just because they have him signed to a contract. Since it is their fighter why don't they assure that they win the BID instead of having him fight another weak opponent so they can keep paying him less than $1 Million

Duva bragging about how she know people in Russia who can Buy Haymon, well then OK, have them help you win the BID! Pressure need to be put on BOTH SIDES to make this fight, not just blaming Stevenson and giving Duva a past for not even want to come to the Negotiations table or allow it to go to a BID
