Looks like you're wrong, still:I was more getting at the fact that Kovalev doesn't seem all that intelligent and he would react in a very childish way if Stevenson called him out
When I heard that Stevenson called him out I knew he was gonna 'erupt'
But if Kovalev wants to fight (and I do think he does) then he should demand that his management make it happen rather than throwing tantrums. Because currently, its Duva blocking the fight imo

Hey @AdonisSuperman, 50/50 offer to fight #Krusher on HBO PPV is still on the table. Has been all year. Call us anytime. #KovalevStevensonComment

Refer to my previous post.
Pulling out of purse bids is equivalent to blocking the fight for me.
You can see it otherwise if you like
That 50/50 sham offer being referred to in your post is in all likelyhood not proportional to the value of the fight hence why they refuse purse bids.
Theres a reason that Beterbiev passed on Duvas offer as well. Shes giving terrible chump change offers that aren't worth it for the fighters because Duva doesn't want any of these fights to happen in the first place.
She'd prefer that Kovalev fight nobodies until she can secure a Ward fight because her entire promotional company relies on Kovalev.
Even Fonfara has come out and talked down on Duva and her terrible offers.
Face it. Duva is a terrible promoter and doesn't want any good fights to materialize because good fights means theres a risk that her cash cow loses.Comment

That c*nt is making demands like she is even relevant in this sport.
I pity one-fighter promoters.

Confused as to how people think fighters signing with HBO is a good thing, they seem to be stopping fights from happening more than anybody!Haymon would out bid HBO for this fight, which means both boxers would make far more money fighting under PBC then on HBO. What mathematical equation are you using to justify that 50/50 of HBO's lower sum is more than 50/50 of PBC's higher sum? Why is Duva ok with kovalev fighting for less money with HBO, rather than letting the fight go to a purse bid, and may the highest bidder win. Remember it was Duva that pulled out.Comment

yawn so tired of kovalev getting a pass in all this. stevenson went to haymon but everyone knows it was not to avoid kovalev lets get real. Kovalev refused to enter a purse bid and people blame his hbo contract but no one mentions his contract ran out and he could of easily fought stevenson. At end the day they are both equally to blame but if one is willing to enter a purse bid and the other isnt i mean give me a break. these hbo exclusive deals are not good and no one calls them out on it haymon fighters might onluy fight on pbc but at least they are willing to enter purse bids and put their money where their mouth is. \
it should not matter which fighter u are a fan of or not the reality is both are to blame why cant duva get these russian billionaires to win a purse bid? i just dont get how people give a pass on hbo exclusive deals just because they dont like pbc. imo these hbo exclusive deals are a bigger problem in making fights then anything else when they cant even do a purse bid.Comment

With a purse bid exclusive contracts don't work, HBO would then turn around and tell kov team to back out of fight, like it or not HBO and duva need to pray everyone that's in line next for belts that krushers have better be free agent or Main Events fighter or they going start losing they belts because duva don't want her only cash cow to leave the network for more cashLast edited by SchoolTheseCats; 09-12-2015, 01:53 PM.Comment

That's all there is to know really... Main Events can throw dust all they want, the real picture is they just can't cope with the Haymon Golden Power... So ME will come back over and over again with shady offers knowing perfectly it won't happen to their likes... A purse bid is the only way to go tbh...Unlikely Stevenson will accept that deal. With the deep pockets of PBC, they can offer Kovalev more money to fight on their platform than Kovalev's promoter can offer Stevenson to fight on any HBO setup.
If Kovalev wants to give **** talk to Stevenson, better come to his ground and make his point.... Collecting more $$$ than he would never have in the process...Comment

Uh whatever. Just say it, "I was wrong, it's not Duva that's blocking the fight".Refer to my previous post.

Kovalev split 6m with Pascal on regular HBO (not ppv), and Pascal didnt even bring a belt, much less lineal. Don't worry, Stevenson would get far more than for the scrubs he's been fighting, but of course the risk is far greater. We all know which option he'll choose, just look at his track record. Could have easily made Hopkins and Pascal x2, priced himself out to go fight more bums for less moneyComment

It's not a demand, it's a great offer to get on HBO PPV lol. For a guy that just fought a bum on Spike TV. I'm sure Duva is devastated the most pitiful NSB troll feels like thatComment
