Kovalev split 6m with Pascal on regular HBO (not ppv), and Pascal didnt even bring a belt, much less lineal. Don't worry, Stevenson would get far more than for the scrubs he's been fighting, but of course the risk is far greater. We all know which option he'll choose, just look at his track record. Could have easily made Hopkins and Pascal x2, priced himself out to go fight more bums for less money

If you see the post I was referring to, I said specifically that you could make a case that Haymon was initially blocking fight and was looking for easy fights. That is exactly what Duva is doing now. Stevenson was a valuable name at that point so they thought it would be better to milk the title against no names. Now that Kovalev is a valuable name, Duva is trying to fight easy fights and make easy money in the same exact way. I was against what Haymon was doing with Stevenson earlier and I am against what Duva is doing with Kovalev now.

But what I am saying is that currently it is Duva that is blocking and nothing you said addressed any of the points I brought up

They can't though, one of them has an exclusive network contract, other doesn't. Stevenson's got that 50/50 on HBO PPV offer, that's by far his best option money/exposure wise. Will he take it, what's your guess?
