I never said Stevenson was the next P4P like alot of people say for Kovalev bum......
Both Triple Bum and Kovalev are overrated on this forum....

Duva went to Russia, allegedly picked up backing from a Russian oligarch, and was only going to pay out to Beterbiev $500k plus only 25% of the Canadian money (HBO is gonna pay out a good amount of money for the US broadcast, the event is going to do a good amount of business on PPV in Beterbiev's adopted home market, and two Russians, fighting in Russia is going to draw good interest from an oligarch or the gate).
Beterbiev hasn't moved away from wanting to fight Kovalev; he's simply making sure that the business is handled properly.
Worse case scenario, Beterbiev is entitled to 25% of an open bid on the fight; if Duva is up for making the fight, as she's claimed, on terms that fit for her objectives, in keeping with HBO, she needs to make an offer that compels Team Beterbiev to say to hell with the purse bid.
$500k and 25% of his own Canadian revenue isn't going to cut it.

Kovalev fights a bum in November, before fighting another bum in March (doubt that the Beterbiev deal gets made), hoping to sell the public on a Pascal rematch in June/July, before fighting another bum in the Fall, and hoping that Ward makes the fight for Winter 2016.

i dont understand why HBO wont let Kova free for 1 fight? he will gain 1 belt + exposure on free TV, I mean its just 1 fcuking fight HBO. We all know ho ducked who when Kovalev first called him "piece of shiiit" when they were both on HBO but come on now, rewards for beating chickenson are still very great.
Hope Kova grows some balls to lay it out to Duva and HBO.
