As he should. All 3 are the same caliber of fighter. But my point to begin with was that he is not being avoided anymore. Every beltholder at 160 wants to fight him as well as do the beltholders 1 division north and south of his own.

Cotto and Canelo make more money fighting each other so that's why that's happening.

Some GGG fans just embrace the roll of the victim

      30 is the new 20.

cotto canelo winner cannot escape him.

GGG has more of a right to stay at 160 than ward does at 168.

      that is a fact.

Didn't stop him from fighting Ouma, Rosado, or Ishida (just missing Willie Monroe Jr as well), so why would that stop Golovkin from potentially facing off against the best fighter he would've faced as a professional? lol

Not true at all. I can't stand Lara but I, and most here, recognise that he's tough to beat. I put him above anyone Genady has beaten and call this a 50/50 fight.
Golovkin fans always use this weak, " no one wants to see that fight" BS to excuse him from ducking Lara and Ward.

So, smaller guys must fight at 160 for Golovkin but he can't fight Ward at 168? Ward already made it clear he wants Golovkin at 168 before he goes to 175 to fight Kovalev so don't start twisting facts.

Keep defending the man if you want. Golovkin will fight 15:1 longshot David Lemieux, his camp will continue to **** their pants whenever Ward's name is mentioned, and they'll be left fighting another bum fighter come January, hoping that the ruse holds up for at least one more fight.
Lara won't make it to the cards to get robbed. Good he can beat Lemeiux then Lee then the winner of Cotto/Canelo and be unified champ at 160. Meanwhile Ward can move up 3 lbs and fight Stevenson-Kovalev-or Beiterbiev. Or he can sit around and wait for the smaller guy to come fight him.

GGG's resume is nothing special indeed, but I don't blame him too much for that, given the circumstances.
Realistically, maybe he could have fought slightly better guys, but MW didn't have much to offer.

What bothers me is his team recent attitude. If you get the chance to fight Ward and you are indeed confident of winning, you don't start speaking about "the economic perspective ".
                Agreed. All of this.

And why not Lara? Wouldn't be the same as beating Ward, but the risk is correspondingly lower and his is a good name to have on a resume.

He's gotta' take some risk if he wants a better resume. It's that simple.

Murray probably. Though GGG has called out multiple fighters in the past with no avail. Martinez, Cotto, Quillen, Chavez, Froch, etc and all have avoided him.

Canelo has recently weighed more on fight night than Golovkin and despite what he says, 155+ is middleweight.

Cotto is smaller than both but nobody seems to bring up size in regards to the Cotto-Canelo fight and he pretends he's lineal at 160.

Ward has already gone to 175. Despite what he says 172 is a lightheavyweight. That "I don't want to move back down once I move up" argument looks silly now. Translation "Kovalev scary".

Why can't these guys just stop inventing tweener divisions for themselves. GGG isn't perfect and I think he would lose to Ward but at least he's fighting at the divisional limit instead of declaring 158.3 lbs "Golovkinweight" like everyone else in this conversation.

                      lol wut?

                      Ward ALREADY WIPED OUT 168lbs.
Ward already has notable names on his resume.
How long has ward been at 168?
Why is he acting like Joe Calzaghe?

So what if he wants GGG?

wtf does that mean or matter to anyone including GGG who fights at another division?

so what if he said he wants GGG before Kovalev?

why would he wait for a guy who FIGHTS IN ANOTHER DIVISION who has no names yet and is trying to get names and is doing his own thing?

why wouldnt a guy who has ALREADY WIPED OUT HIS DIVISION AND HAS DEFEATED A 175LB CHAMP IN DAWSON, WAS AN AMATEUR 175 CHAMP, HAS FOUGHT AT 168 HIS ENTIRE CAREER......

HAVE TO WAIT FOR A GUY WHO FIGHTS IN ANOTHER DIVISION BEFORE HE FINALLY MOVES UP AND FIGHTS A GUY HE'S SUPPOSE TO BE FIGHTING?

                      how ****** are you?

dont answer that question. its rhetorical.
