Despite his age, Hopkins is a master technician and kovalev humiliated him. Couple that with his destruction of everyone else he's faced and I think, in that hypothetical world, he's the best.

On a different note, I have no idea how a guy like golovkin is rated higher than kovalev when he hasn't proven himself at world level like kovalev has.
No, and the Hopkins wins doesn't mean anything, Hopkins doesn't even have an offense worth noting at this point, can't even initiate and his traps only work against those who who are ****** enough to sit in the pocket after missing. The Murat, Cloud and Shumenov's of the world to be more specific.

Even though I picked Kovalev to walk through B-Hop, I'm still not sold on him, I see a guy who squares up and may have a questionable chin. As far as I'm concerned the only credible win he has is Pascal, that's it.

Lol, You realize neither of our opinions can proven, right? P4p is a silly idea created for newspaper sales and a fun conversation.

I know, that's why it's a hypothetical I don't like getting into but at the same time lets at least acknowledge that Kovalev has much to prove.

I dropped him from #1 after the first Maidana fight, put him back after winning the rematch, and dropped him again after the PAC fight.

He is still great but at 38 I think the 33 year old GGG and the very young Gonzalez are a little bit better. I know GGG hasn't face the quality of opponents Mayweather has but GGG has just destroyed some pretty good fighters.

He does have to much to prove, but I like what I see out of him compared to most others. i also try to avoid p4p convos, I find them pointless.

                    Obviously.

That's not in question other than to hardcore internet fanboys.

Anyone with any credibility will have Floyd as P4P #1

Not for long if he continues to fight Berto level opponents.
