Here comes the boxing "fans" to tell us how they're proud of boxing failing...How it makes them happy that boxing fails again. Solid fans. A Sport is only as good as its fan base

I think it's actually pretty good considering that there was also a huge UFC card the same night.

And it barely sold 7.5k tickets. Garcias gifts has took a toll on his drawing power.

It's terrible considering the budget, something people keep overlooking. Re-runs of cops does close to that rating, how much you think that costs?

Exactly this. This guy seems hellbent on bringing boxing to the forefront, back to it's glory days. For once someone is looking out and ensuring it's the fighters who are getting rich and not all of the leeches this sport tends to attract. But Haymons association to Floyd makes him bad and in turn bad for boxing. Let me ask you guys a question though since you insist that HBO is still putting on the better cards and is doing just fine without Haymon then what happens if PBC just falls apart? What happens to all the good fights we saw this year? What happens to the up and coming guys getting tv dates and a chance to shine? Maybe some of the top guys sneak onto HBO but what about everyone else?

Should be ashamed to call yourselves fans.

These are bad ratings they got destroyed by UFC's prelim fights. Despite the fact that UFC paid those fighters combined for the non ppv peanuts compared to the millions in purses PBC just paid Garcia, Paulie, Jacobs and Mora. Also the ratings for the Sportscenter which followed the fight were only slightly less. Sportscenter which again only costs a fraction of the money to produce and air.
