So according to you, two guys making their PPV debuts, are basing guarantees off projected buy rates. I know Schaefer is gone and GGG's folks are new to this. But they can't be that ******.

Race plays a huge part in boxing. Always has, always will. Its ridiculous for folks to pretend it doesn't. That said, boxing basically has a cult following at this point. These fighters aren't nearly as popular ad these new fight fans think they are. I deal with casual fights, as do most of us all the time. And in the last year or so. I've talked up GGG as a guy that could beat Floyd among casuals. And 0% of them had ever heard of GGG.

Easy on the PPV's HBO! Boxing is not that damn popular for everybody to be fighting on PPV. However, I would be OK with this fight on PPV as well as GGG vs Ward but not everything is PPV Worthy! GGG vs Lemieux I don't think is PPV Worthy but HBO has a Budget so they just can't put all these fights on their Network, some of them must be on PPV for them to happen so I understand that.

But in orders to be successful on HBO, these fighters need to do a better job at capturing the attention of the Casual American Fans and it takes more than Knockouts to do that! You have to be interesting outside of the ring as well and that is why a lot of fighters while popular with Boxing Fans, they're literally unknown away from boxing.

Gotta disagree with you there homie. IMO Stevenson isn't special. He's almost a light heavyweight version of Cotto. Caught the champion at the perfect time. And even though he has the belt, isn't the best in the division. We know Ward is legit. Kovalev appears to be legit.

What would be the reason why a boxing fan would reject this fight?
