I'm wondering if Kovalev is aware of the fact that they pulled out from the pursue bid or they keep it as a secret and he doesn't even know it.

Yes he hopes someone will beat him and fight him.
Except if it's Beterbiev because then they would pull out from the pursue bid.
Except if it's Fonfara because then they would pull out from the pursue bid.
Except if it's Eleider Alvarez because then they would pull out from the pursue bid.

        Why? They didn't?

First Stevenson's side avoided them and then they avoided Stevenson.

... We heard that Haymon let Lara free to fight GGG on HBO, right? Didn't ask for a purse bid because it wasn't the case under the rules.
As significant opponents, Stevenson has Beterbiev (also with Yvon Michel) and maybe Pascal... E-Rod? E-Rod is fine...

This is why boxing sucks. Stevenson executed the greatest duck of all time and then Kovalev slipped Stevenson's duck and countered with a duck of his own. I mean WTF is this? Now Kovalev is fighting pointless rematches because he can't sell tickets anywhere and Stevenson is fighting lord knows who.

We can't even get diet mega fights anymore. We spend more time talking about business, lawsuits and fantasy fights than we do breaking down matchups.

Why he shouldn't ask for pursue bid if he feels so? Haymon is the one to blame because HBO wasn't able to let Duva bid for the fight? Oh sure, they know that she would lose. Then if Kovalev is that important to them that they are afraid to let him to ab other channel for one fight why they didn't back Duva up with some money from their budget?
I can see from anywhere, the pulling out isn't Haymon's fault. It's just the normal way of things when there are two parties who are both interested to make a fight but won't cooperate.
If he lets some of his fighters to fight on HBO that's cool but don't blame him if he wants pursue bid. He is a business man. Why the hell he wouldn't want to make such a big fight like Kovalev vs Stevenson?

Wrong. Duva didn't know that Michel was going to request an expedited purse bid when when Kovalev was negotiating his new deal with HBO, nor did she know that the WBC would grant Michel's request.

Duva thought Michel would negotiate with her and she could have gotten the fight made by giving them a better cut than the 50/50 they would get if it went to bids.

She asked Michel to call off the bid and negotiate with her instead. If he'd done that, clearly he could have gotten Stevenson a better deal than 50/50 if he fought Kovalev on HBO.

Michel didn't want to know. His aim was to get Superduck out of the fight, not get him more money for doing it.

As you all know, when Stevenson moved to Haymon he ducked Kovalev; but not only him... he ducked B-Hop and Pascal as well... Then Kovalev beat Hopkins and Pascal... One cannot change history... One can only twist it, maybe.

I'll give you the answer (which you already have): Haymon appears that he let Lara fight GGG, on HBO, of course... The same Haymon is able to find a way in order to let Stevenson fight Kovalev too (on HBO)... Or it's just possible for Lara but not for Stevenson?

You can't blame a "promoter" because he doesn't let his fighters every time to fight on another channel just from kindness. You can blame him if he doesn't let them after somebody else win the pursue bid, like when he made Quillin vacate his belt just because Roc Nation won the pursue bid but in this case the situation is not this.
Stevenson brings him more money than Lara or Edwin Rodriguez and a fight between Kovalev and Stevenson would be one of the most awaited clashes in boxing in the recent years. It would definitely bring more money than Lara vs Golovkin. It's clear as day why he doesn't want to turn it down and just send Stevenson to HBO for that single fight. Why he is the one who should do this? Why not HBO let Kovalev to fight in PBC? Then comes the logical qustion: Why they didn't manage it on the normal way of thing, with a pursue bid? That's the rules of competition. --> Because HBO didn't accept these simple rules.
You can't wait from a rival promoter/channel/force to let his fighters to fight on your channel all the time when it comes to negotiate, just from kindness, without a pursue bid. It's crazy to think that...
You can't blame a promoter because he wants pursue bid and he wants to organize one of the best fights in boxing now with one of the fighters is "his".
As I said, it's cool if he lets his fighters to fight on HBO in some cases but no way that he can be blamed because he wanted to go to a pursue bid.
