GGG doesn't have to make any "excuses" regarding Ward - who just "destroyed" Paul Smith, doe...

nah, you can't duck someone who isn't in your division. to move up in weight when you don't physical have to is to go above and beyond what is required of you. plus i firmly believe that he will fight ward, and at 168 lbs, but only once his options at middleweight are exhaustedComment

1. froch and chavez jr bring (or brought) a lot of money to the table
2. golovkin could probably beat froch and chavez jr regardless of weight, so he wouldn't need to gain a full 8 lbs of muscle and abandon middleweight. beating froch or chavez jr at 168 lbs would have actually improved his position in the middleweight division, because they would increase his profile and thus make him harder to avoid, plus he wouldn't have had to alter his body drastically. it's obvious that ward is a serious threat to golovkin and for that reason golovkin won't put himself at a significant weight disadvantage; he will either wait until he's finished business at middleweight and then perhaps acclimatise to super middle permanently, or, until then, demand that ward also compromises on his weight to cancel out his advantage
..... Golovkin will fight Froch/Chavez at 168, but not Ward
That is completely and utterly indefensible !Comment

You're a moron if you don't understand why Cotto holding the middleweight belt matters. Simple as that.Comment

no they didn't. Show me a link where they did. Because there is an article on here where his promoter even said he was interested in degale. haha and lara? yup GGG must of saw his fight with rodriguez and figured there is no way I want to fight a guy who is completely content with jabbing and 1'2 his opponent to a decision haha that's laughable. but anything to hate on golovking I guessComment

lol 431 comments already and team ggg try to say not enough demand give me a break and just make the fight at 168 or admit hes to good one or the otherComment

I don't care. Ward would kick GGG's ass. I know it. Ward knows it. His fans know it. GGG knows it. His management know it. And his fans know it. That's why Team GGG don't want it. And that's why his fans don't want. Perfectly satisfied to ride the fake hype train. #patheticComment

No, man... Ward doesn't have another money fight right now. Ward just can't make another $2mln by fighting a new Paul Smith... I remember when Ward offered GGG $500k, and now he wants to make at least $2 millions on GGG's back... No way GGG is such a ****** guy!... Right now, Ward just can't push GGG into anything because GGG doesn't give a shit about Ward as we speak.
Team GGG just mocked Ward up with that 164 demand...
