It seems clear to me that Ward wants to fight GGG before he moves up in weight. 154-168 was the statement made by Golovkin's team. They shouldn't switch up now. Ward/Golovkin is the biggest fight either fighter can make at the moment. They'll both make good money and it should be an excellent event. Once Golovkin's team made offers to Froch and Chavez, they opened the door to be challenged by Ward at 168 and they look bad if they do not accept the challenge.

164 is perfectly acceptable I don't know what people are complaining about. Ward is a super middleweight GGG is a middleweight so why not meet in the middle?
You guys just want GGG at a disadvantage because you want to see him lose. Catchweight is fair.

Rmember when floyd got a 1 lb CW from a dude he was giving up 20 lbs to? This whole forum, including me, went ape **** (i was ****** about that)
GGG "KO HWs" all of a sudden is into CWs. There is a cool correlation between GGG fans and Floyd haters, this has them doing turns and flips
He either wants it at 168 or not. Ward is not supid to go to 164 and the hear Kovalev talk at 175.
If GGG doesnt want it, say it. He is not ducking a dude a division above him. Reasonable fans know that. But from now on STFU about 154-175 and KOing Hws. Hype over.
About Cotto, well, Cotto can ask for a CW now and while I hate it, GGG has to understand him nowLast edited by JaguaresMx; 07-22-2015, 05:42 PM.

I also have real doubts that this supposed "roadblock" over a CW for Ward/GGG even exists.
Is Loeffler close to finalising a deal with some as yet unnamed opponent for GGG's next fight, and stuck in a roadblock with Ward at the same time?
Until one of Ward or GGG's team comes out and verifies what this unnamed source is saying, I'm not taking this seriously.

a gracious offer

Yeah, Ward is such a superstar.

Golovkin is the man at 160, everybody knows that.
So why the fcuk do you need a roadmap to tell you who the best fighter is ?
Cotto accidentally picked up the MW strap/lineage, by winning a money fight with Martinez.
Cotto needs to dump the strap, because he is OBVIOUSLY not a middleweight..... and you need to go get some exercise or something, and stop worrying yourself to death over worthless/meaningless ABC straps.
I bolded the obvious relevant point that you missed.

I've been saying for a long while now I think GGG-Ward is going to happen next year, after Golovkin takes care of the business he's been working so hard to accomplish.
