He's selling out lesser venues with cheaper tickets. He's not a massive draw that his team try to make out that he is.

These are 2 non-PPV fighters. One who might sell a few more tickets but has a poor resume and career compared to the other. That makes it 50-50.
Sure it does. Him bombing an MSG show is still better than Ward's ability to generate money in viewers or tickets.

It doesn't even factor in Ward's lackluster performance in June viewers and gate wise. He could still be a 1.2 mil HBO fighter (he's done that only twice I think) but we absolutely have no clue if he actually is.

If GGG has more fans that will buy the fight (PPV or tickets) more because of him over buying because they are a Ward fan, then that literally means GGG is getting more buys that Ward cant attract and generating more money for the event.

Not my concern and not something I'm defending. I already said fight should be at 168.

Still waiting on you to tell me how Ward attracts more viewers than GGG though.

        That about sums it up.

Like I said earlier, $50 PPV x 300k buys = $15 million dollars [and I think this PPV does well over 500k buys]. However, even @ 300k buys, that's $7.5 million in the pot. The Ward fight is EASILY Bum-love-kin's biggest payday by a factor of 2.

If this fight doesn't happen then is should be painfully obvious who's ducking here...

The fact that Golovkin's team put 50/50 out there already was a bit of a dumb move if they want a bigger split

They simply don't want the fight. It's patently obvious.

The SAME people who defend GGG in this situation, and his teams ridiculous terms, are the SAME people that call Cotto a diva, even in regards to a GGG fight. Love double standards.

Ward said it best. Both teams come to the table with clear heads, no pissing contest, and get the networks involved and make it happen, its simple.

If GGG doesnt want to move up to 168 to challenge Ward then fine, come out and say it. Theres no point in teasing the fight if they have no intentions of fighting him. Thats building off another fighters name (What Pacquiao nd Mayweather were doing to eachother)

If GGG's team insist on 164, then GGG has snatched the diva's crown from Cotto, and Cotto is justified in asking for a 155 catchweight limit against GGG, cause y'know, Cotto would be the A side in that fight.

Fight Ward if you're serious, but if not then say you dont want the fight and just continue to call out junior welterweights.

In the past Ward's been clearly quoted saying he would go up to 175, not to campaign there but for a single big fight.

Going up to light heavyweight for the right fight -- not to campaign up there, but for the right fight -- is an option.
              -Andre Ward, December 21, 2011

Super middleweight champion Lucian Bute was left out in the cold when the Super Six lineup was decided, and it seems he'll get short shrift again as tournament champ Andre Ward looks a different direction.

Ward wasn't talking shit back then. Golovkin said yes when it was obvious it wasn't going to happen. It was just a marketing gimmick. It was only when Golovkin became worth fighting and Ward express interest, Golovkin's people started making up these plethora of excuses, which is is an undeniable fact. If Golovkin and his people changed their mind and are saying yes now, fine. Get it on then. Stop this ****** bickering.

Cotto is MW lineal champ, for over a year. If he's just a JWW, ditch the damn belt.
