Too bad you couldn't predict it pre-fight and instead predicted a T/KO.

FYI, I don't believe Cotto is re-born. But I do believe he is a very good fighter, who has improved over the years. And I give him more credit than people like you do.

How could I predict it before the fight? I hadn't seen Martinez fight since the two extra knee operations he had after the Murray fight. Am I his doctor? They didn't even show much training footage of him either - I wonder why!

Arum said that as well and he had the final say.

How is that an "excuse"? I picked based on Sergio being somewhere close to his best. When the fight happened, it was obvious he wasn't anywhere near that and he's now been forced into retirement because of injury. Totally fine doe!

I suppose you have picked every fight correctly? I forgot you were a clairvoyant.

I picked Cotto to win, and he won big time. And I picked Cotto to win because I'm aware that he's a very good fighter and never counted him out. And unlike you, I give him this credit and never believed he's a diminished fighter. Cotto is a pretty skilled boxer.

I also knew there was a small chance Martinez could win. But I didn't believe he would. And I felt if he did win, it wouldn't be by a goddamn T/KO!

Not many picked Matinez to knock out Williams - I did. Williams was tougher and had a better chin than Miguel Cotto. If Sergio was able to actually put anything on his punches and throw combinations, then he stops the smaller Cotto. I stand by that.

You probably picked Cotto to win because you're a Mayweather fanboy and you were desperately hoping he'd win so you could add extra jizz sauce to Mayweather's win over Cotto.....which is exactly what you've been trying to do in this thread

He was not at 100%... therefore picking Martinez was based on a false premise.

You picking Cotto and Cotto winning was the aberration. Good for you for picking correctly... however the people who picked Martinez, should've based on the information being presented to us.

Cotto's won because Martinez' knees were absolutely shot.
I respect you, but I disagree.

I believe the knees are nothing more than pure hot excuses. Even if for sake of argument, I go along with the knees excuses, I believe Martinez still was going to lose that fight. He was never going to T/KO Cotto especially.

I didn't even think Cotto was going to T/KO Martinez instead. I predicted it would be Cotto just winning a clear 12-round decision, while embarrassing Martinez at times. Maybe a knockdown to be generous. But mostly just a clear win. I gave Martinez that much credit. But a lot of people, gave Cotto absolutely no credit, which is comical. And in the end, they all looked like fools and grab to the knees excuses.

I already explained why I picked Cotto. And I made posts about it before the fight happened, explaining why technically I thought Cotto would win. I can post them if you'd like. So keep making those knee excuses. I'm not the one that was foolish enough to predict such a T/KO.

Knee excuses? So he didn't have two knee surgeries and wasn't out over a year after the Murray fight?? I'm making this up? He isn't retired now because of his injuries. These are just excuses not facts and events that actually took place in reality. I see.....

Martinez is bigger than Cotto and had stopped bigger men with better chins than Cotto. A healthy Martinez would TKO Cotto.
