He has DeGale, the Jack/Groves winner, Golovkin moving up, the Dirrells...
There are some fights for him at 168, and the Golovkin fight is going to happen unless one loses or Ward gets impatient enough to try Kovalev instead.Comment

... Ward never showed 'impatience'...

Not bothered at all. The thing that 'bothers' me is how posters hold Ward to one standard and Golovkin to another.http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...ard-bout-works
Beauty of being able to find the actual article online; article is nearly three years old.
Three years ago, Ward stated that he'd go up to 175 for special fights, though not going up just for the sake of going up. After that article, Ward has consistently stated that he'd refuse to go up to 175 just for the sake of it, only going up when his body tells him to go up (there still isn't a fight at 175 that could be considered a big fight for Ward, outside of Stevenson or Pascal, nearly all because both fights would bring Canadian PPV).
Ward was five pounds away from super middleweight with over two weeks to go, and that seems to have bothered you.
I wonder what Golovkin was weighing with three weeks to go till the Monroe Jr fight.
Those posters want the very active GGG to move up in search of a challenge despite unfinished business at 160, while Ward, who hasn't had a meaningful fight in nearly 4 years, is allowed to sit around waiting for a smaller man despite there being plenty of challenges at 175.
That's a double standard right there.Comment

Ward hasn't had a meaningful fight in years because of out of the ring issues. Not bothered at all. The thing that 'bothers' me is how posters hold Ward to one standard and Golovkin to another.

Golovkin hasn't had a meaningful fight in his entire career despite being "very active"

Thats cool. The division has reset since he has been away and their are a few good fights there for him. Winner of the Degale/Groves/Jack situation is the best unless Froch decides he wants to fight him(unlikely).Comment
