EXACTLY!!!! People don't realize that Groves and DeGale won't go out and look for a Ward fight. They have big money to make against themselves over in the UK and they're not going to let Ward ruin those plans. They'll probably fight next year and a third time in 2017, they could give two ****s about Ward lol. Also, Bob Arum is not going to let Andre fight his two up and comers: Gilberto Ramirez and Jesse Hart, Bob is not a fool like that. Furthermore, Ward may not be able to fight the Haymon fighters.
People are acting like GGG is the one in a difficult position. Right now it doesn't look good for GGG, but 2016 will be a better year.

Lol, you can believe me, Ward fans including me actually want the Ward vs Golovkin fight asap and the Ward vs Kovalev fight too after that because I'm a little annoyed by the flood of GGG/Kovalev fanboys (relax, not you-not you, but sometimes you're cocky and unreasonable too) and can't wait them to disappear. I don't want them to be around like + 2-3 years. And if Ward will beat them, they will disappear, just like most of the Pac fanboys disappeared and only the normal GGG and Kovalev fans will stay and I haven't got any problem with them.

      • I wish he would take it up to 175, but I'm still interested and I'm still going to follow his fights. I hope he doesn't make a bunch of light heavies drop to weird catch weights because he won't move up.

Not sure what comes next for him at 168..

Froch was fighting away from home for the 4th successive time in the super 6 tournament, including an absolute war against Kessler in Denmark. Despite looking a little tired and jaded as a result, Froch pushed Ward hard and was looking the stronger of the 2 in the final round.

Afterwards, Froch destroyed Bute, who Ward had refused to fight, avenged his defeat to Kessler and ruled the SM division while Ward remained inactive, becoming a bigger draw and a bigger name worldwide than Ward had ever been.

Froch definitely deserves a rematch with Ward and he deserves it on his terms, this time, or not at all.

i gave froch the 11th, and ward the 12th. almost positive of that. haven't seen the fight in a few months. i usually score that fight 10-2, and there's really only one clear froch round.

you have to consider that froch needed the rounds, and ward did not.

          that fight was not close.

and LOL at the rest of that stuff. atlantic city is not home for a fighter who lives 3000 miles away. AC isn't that much further from oakland than it is from nottingham. i don't expect you to understand that, and that's fine.

it's not my fault you all overrated lucian bute, who has done next to nothing in his career other than punch bums very hard.

froch was pretty candid about not wanting to fight andre ward until ward couldn't fight. once ward was inactive, froch started to talk a bit. now that ward's back, don't expect froch to run his mouth quite so much.

british boxing fans are very ignorant. you can show a horse where the water is, but you can't make him drink it.

          • For 60 years boxers fought at either 160 or 175. He can fight at 168 all his career but he should be fine at 175. Unless they are concerned that the big light-heavies won't feel his punch at all.

Alas, that's the likely outcome. God knows why they would bother, though. Ward brings nothing to the table in such a scenario. No money and no titles.

                my guy, lol.

read my ward posts. you all need to read my ward posts. turn my avatar off, and read my posts concerning andre ward.

                ward is not "my guy."

golovkin is trying to stay at middleweight for the money. i don't blame him. he wants fights with cotto, alvarez, and possible even floyd mayweather. mayweather isn't realistic, but alvarez and cotto are possible ppv fights, and massive paydays.

just don't act like he's moving up to 168 lbs or fighting andre ward, when he is not.

                • you know they're scared when they talk about fighters "not bringing anything to the table."

that's boxing talk for, "this guy can f#cking fight."

Ward has nothing to prove against Froch. Froch got bullied and beaten up on that fight you can't even say the favourite excuses in this case like Oakland and dirty fighting. Froch just got a backed up and bullied and if he tried to go forward he got countered. Froch is a really good fighter and I respect his toughness and his resume but he just got beaten by a better fighter. That's it.
                    118 - 110 on one card, 115 - 112 on the other 2.

And Andre had two good hands going in to the fight. He broke one hitting Carl in the head, and didn't hurt or faze him at all.

And don't you act like Ward wants that fight. He doesn't, not yet anyway, and everybody knows that.
