That's what I'm hoping and I've even said before that if Canelol starts his mexican date bs watch Cotto surprise everyone and fight GGG.

Yes yes Icha mentioned that it was taken from an older espn article.

        Bolded part is VERY interesting.

Actually the thread I made was comments from HBO something like that. Icha had already explained that this article was taken from an old article and no I'm not trolling.

If Cotto read an article that said he was fighting Golovkin, the person who would get the biggest surprise would be himself! Cotto will retire before fighting GGG. He certainly would be retired after the fight, so might as well save himself a serious beating and skip the fight and go directly to retirement.

Gotta strike the iron while it's hot. This is the best time to try and take over the dates, Canelo is on a roll. Sep 12 is one of the biggest dates. And Mayweather does not have a credible opponent. Which PPV you buying Mayweather vs fringe contender, or Canelo vs (hopefully) Cotto? I know what I'm getting.

And where Canelo is from, maximizing profits is already done. Dude is from farms with multi millions of dollars, and will make millions more despite what date Mayweather fights on. Dude is financially set already, if he does the right things with his money. That's on him, and the day he fights won't change that.

Here we go again. When will the gullible fans realize that hbo and showtime have never went head too head with ppv's and they never will.

Arum and Schaefer told us years ago that the cable company would choose before they ever allow 2 fights.

Oscar has already said that they will wait til floyd makes his decision and then they will make a date for canelo-cotto.

                    Floyd is fighting in september.

cotto will fight canelo after that. Cotto promoter just said Saturday that the fight will happen in October or november

listen too the promoters, not the trainers.

Problem is Cotto isn't going to fight on that date and Cotto isn't going to be told what to do by Canelo anyway he's calling the shots.

Add the fact that HBO have stated they won't be competing with Mayweather on that date.

Yeah, Canelo ain't fighting on that date.
