Yea I doubt it is as well. IMO he'll go for that 50-0. Imagine ODH on the Canelo undercard just to "drive the ppv interest" if they do it the same day as floyd.

Canelo won't fight Andrade. No way in hell lol. Would love to see it because that is exactly the fight Andrade needs to get him in the public eye. Andrade makes easy work of Canelo imo.

Canelo and his team have to stop being idiots here for a second. If they want maximize their profits, they let Mayweather have his last fight in September and they fight Cotto in October or November.

Smart move by Alvarez, Cotto won't be ready til probably November/December. Canelo takes a stay busy fight on regular HBO and continues to build his popularity after that long break between Lara and Kirkland. Gives him further leverage negotiating with Cotto, should he look good.

He could easily fight John Thompson from the boxcino tournament or even take a page from Cotto and weight drain a guy like Tureano Johnson or Heiland.

Agree. It would also only give Cotto a three week rest before starting training camp. I doubt that date works for him.

it's stated that they wanted to compete PPVs against Floyd. And when did Cotto drain Johnson or Heiland? That's right those fights didn't even happen.

Until an announcement comes from HBO, who will be broadcasting this fight, I consider this to be mere posturing. There is no way they can work out a deal with Cotto that fast and no way that HBO will go up against a Floyd PPV. It makes no business sense at all. This is just another way to build up interest in the next Canelo fight.
