funny how they conveniently had it the same day of the replay.
That's a pretty dumb excuse, everyone knew the fight didn't live up to the hype. SPECIALLY the casual fans. They exaggerated the whole thing claiming how fraudulent it was. Do you really think they didn't search for a youtube video before saturday? The fight was literally available the next day in numerous sites.

had it the same day as the replay because it was ONE saturday after the May/Pac fight. You thought they were gonna have the replay on a weekday?

Canelo's PPV fight with Mayweather blew Cotto's PPV with Mayweather out the water. I could care less about A side B side crap but it's just funny after months of Cotto fans talking about Canelo is the B side and this and that as excuses for why Cotto should call the shots in negotiations or get more money then him and ultimately using it as the excuse for why Cotto backed out the fight. Now in a matter of months it's clear that Canelo is cementing himself as the A side.

Right now unless your name is Mayweather and maybe Pacquiao there is NOBODY in boxing who can say they are the A side over Canelo.
Look man I don't even care. I'm willing to concede that Canelo is more popular. Mexicans and Mexican Americans make up a large percentage of the fans in the US. A guy like Canelo will always do great numbers.

I was just saying for the HBO telecasts it does make sense Canelo did better considering they replayed Mayweather Pac right before it.

Now the numbers prove he is NOT the A side. Canelo has no A side unless he is fighting Mayweather and MAYBE Pacquiao. His star power is bigger right now then every other fighter including Cotto.

I used to be a big fan of Cotto but the disgraceful Diva way he's acted and keeping the Middleweight title hostage while he keeps bragging about A side has turned me off with this dude. With these numbers one thing is clear the A side talk ends now. Canelo is the A side and Cotto fans know it.
Stop acting like the typical Canelotard bra'. Canelotards were the ones spinning out of control the ****** lie that Cotto backed from the table when cearly Cotto was awaiting for the Floyd vs Pac, since he was the alternate for Floyd. Additionally, FINANCIALLY speaking and "any A side" will know, you dont compete against Floyd vs Pac fight on the same night like Fraudanelo wanted. Lol can you just suspend the childish Mexico vs PR flame ward for a minute and just be happy that boxing does good ratings lately?

In network terms by now we have already we have already 3 events which surpassed the best in 2014 (Chavez vs Vera II - 1,39 million average) and we have other event which did easily above a million, like Rios-Alvarado III, Wilder-Stiverne or Golovkin-Monroe.

+ We've got the monster PPV with May-Pac and some nice number from PBC on NBC - Thurman vs Guerrero with 3,4 million and Garcia vs Peterson with 2,9 million (averages)

He is just your typical Canelotard and he has a big "nationalistic flag" making him blind and deft. He does not understands logic.

            Screw this Canelo tard!

A popular mexican boxer should always have more tv viewers and sell more tickets.
              That's what I'm saying. Its.not even close.

Why does Mayweather fight the dates that he fights? Because mexican/mexican American holidays that's why.

Only caveat Cotto has, is that Canelo needs him. But Cotto is B-side no question.
Cotto is the A side because he has the Middleweight title and he has the Mayweather option.

Who's Alvarez gonna fight if it's not Cotto? Golovkin?

This is a clear 50/50 fight.
The money should be split right down the middle.

Both fighters have had great HBO ratings. Their last PPV was around 350K for both. It's the biggest fight both can make, and HBO is pushing for this fight to happen.

It will be 50/50. I can see Cotto conceding on the date, with Canelo conceding on the venue.

Once it's on, I can sense this is going to be a FOY candidate.

Interesting to see an opinion such this when last year Cotto was the most obnoxious and ****y about him being the A side against the reigning world champion at that time, Sergio Martinez.
And who Cotto gonna fight if it's not Canelo? Golovkin?

By the way I don't give a fuck who will be the A side but please don't be ******.

Under no circumstances were Canelo/Cotto going to fight the same date as Pac/Floyd. Everyone and their mama knew that stop being so gullible. HBO weren't going to compete against themselves for PPV buys. Oscar/Canelo acknowledged that.
