I just get pissed at the fake fans on here who write **** like, I want GGG to beat Cotto to a bloody pulp and see him layed out drowning in his own blood. You have passed greats like Ali, Benitez, Gomez, Taylor and many others in such bad conditions after they retire. And to read such hateful **** like that coming from a fighters fans is disgusting. I won't lie and pretend I like GGG because I don't care for him, maybe later on when Cotto retires he might win me over but I'm a loyal Cotto fan and I want him to eventually fight GGG. But I would be fine if Cotto vacated the title after Canelo and move down if he wishes to do so.

Sign the paper! It doesn't cost anything extra!
Willingness to fight the best? They've fought much greater opposition than GGG, do you listen to yourself?

What do you mean "feel like fighting"? Cotto stated that after canelo if GGG is available he's available too.

On the other hand canelo said it'll take them two years.

So GGG fans are ok with canelo getting a shot at the WBC mw title before GGG?
Cuz I yet to see one complain about it.

Cotto has put himself in this situation. He absolutely has to make a deal with GGG before he can fight Canelo first. GGG is going to want a guarantee to fight the winner of Canelo/Cotto. Neither Canelo nor Cotto wants to fight GGG. Therefore Cotto is going to have to vacate the belt because that is really what GGG wants. It is only logical. Cotto has already went back on a deal before so I don't blame GGG for not trusting him.Back in October GGG made the fight with Rubio to be the mandatory for the opportunity that Cotto got from the WBC to fight Martinez. When Cotto made that deal with the WBC he understood that *after one optional fight, he then had to fight the winner of Rubio/Golovkin sometime this year. Cotto made that deal with the WBC in order to get the opportunity against Martinez. Or else Martinez would have probably fought somebody else or fought Golovkin. *Now that Cotto has to live up to that arrangement he is not being honorable. He is backing out because he is being a diva. He fights Geale and doesn’t fight the winner of Golovkin/Rubio. So what does that say about Cotto’s word.

It is really simple. Cotto would get his butt whipped by GGG. Therefore he will vacate the title in order to fight GGG. GGG is not just going to let Cotto fight GGG without some compensation. Cotto has aready went back on his word before.Back in October GGG made the fight with Rubio to be the mandatory for the opportunity that Cotto got from the WBC to fight Martinez. Compare the numbers GGG had in NY compared to Cotto in NY. Plus this Cotto fight had absolutely no undercard.

                  GGG ppvs = 0

It's a very simple agreement to come to, all GGG wants is a signed agreement that the winner of Cotto-Canelo will fight Golovkin NEXT. No voluntary in between, no rematch in between, no fight at another weight class in between. Whoever wins fights Golovkin NEXT.

Why is Cotto so against giving that guarantee? He claims in interviews that he would 'possibly' fight GGG after Canelo, so why not make it official? What is stopping him? Why do his fans try to invent excuses for him not to give that guarantee? Cotto is not Floyd. He knows how to read and how to sign his name. There is nothing preventing him from signing an agreement that obligates him to actually live up to the obligation he is avoiding by fighting Canelo in the first place.

There isn't a set of balls among the entire bunch of them!
I agree completely. Cotto is hesitating because he knows GGG would whip his butt. Cotto has already went back on his word before. Cotto wants some. He wants some ****ing money & GGG is best case 2nd in that line. Him & his team need to understand the game & wait their turn. In 3 years or w/e when GGG has built his name he's gonna be doing the same **** Cotto is right now if his team gots two brain cells to rub together.
