It's ****ing ridiculous. Every damn week an old fighter comes out and says that "Floyd wouldn't beat this HOF-er" or "Floyd doesn't beat that ATG" or "Floyd isn't TBE".

These guys were all boxers they should know the best that this whole "TBE" thing is only marketing, hence it's absolute senseless to argue with it or get upset about it.
The many people who bitching all the time about this "TBE" thing prove the best how effective this marketing really is.

This is just as senseless like when people bitching about Andre Ward being S.O.G. becaue "How he dares to, blah-blah-blah..."
It's a fucking nickname guys, a fantasy name, don't take it literal.
Yeah, Floyd couldn't beat SRL, Andre Ward can't walk on water, but Adonis Stevenson can move faster than a speeding bullet ... when he's running away from Kovalev.

I feel sorry for you if you're upset about nicknames of boxers...

This line from Mancini I wanted to comment on real quick:

"He's (Floyd) got special skills and is a special fighter, but I'm not paying to see him. On free TV, fine. If not, no. Pacquiao was the draw, everyone knows that."

Now I'm not insane enough to say that Pacquiao was THE draw, because we all know that Floyd's PPV numbers, especially here in recent memory, were significantly ahead of Manny's.

That said, Manny was clearly a monumental draw in this as well. A lot of people around here were saying that Pacquiao's PPV numbers were pathetic and that he was no longer a draw. Well how else can these galactic PPV numbers be explained then? If Manny was irrelevant and no longer a draw, then wouldn't this fight have been just a normal Floyd PPV? A million buys or a shade under? Okay I admit, that's unrealistic -- we all knew this fight was going to be big after years of hype. Well then how about Canelo/Floyd level numbers? 2.4 million buys, right? That 2.4 million or whatever it was blew away the previous PPV record. 2.4 million buys is a **** ton of buys. But instead, this fight wasn't at 3 million, or even 4 million...but instead at 5 million plus buys. That's insane.

Truth is, they were both equally mammoth draws in this. They needed each other to pull this off. It's unlikely those PPV numbers will be topped...ever.

I believe it had a lot to do with the fact that people actually believed for once that he'd definitely be the one to beat Floyd.

In their minds, Floyd had been ducking him for years. He's also been a massive PPV draw.

I don't like Leonard, but he is by far the smartest boxer ever when it comes to decisions inside and outside the ring.

Saying Pac was the draw is obvious hate and discredits everything thing he says.

Not upset, but boxers nicknames can be confusing sometimes.

Like, Irish Micky Ward is really an American, yeah .. he just has an Irish dad. Well so does Andre Ward. And I'm not trying to say they're brothers, but how come Andre is SOG, not Irish Andre Ward?

See what I mean. It's very confusing.

That's the sad reality that has come to be, nobody can beat Mayweather in the present day so they must try to teleport him in the past and say he can't beat a specific fighter - sad lmfao
