Why Pascal would say that Froch hits harder than Kovalev is hard to figure when according to Dan Rafael Pascal had never been knocked down before his fight with Kovalev. Nothing in the BoxRec write up of Froch/Pascal indicates that Froch even staggered Pascal - and it went the full 12 rounds to a decision, yet Kovalev stopped Pascal in the eighth. Pascal may well believe that Froch hits harder than Kovalev, but results speak to the truth - Kovalev hits harder than Froch or any other fighter whom Pascal has faced.

His punching technique is sloppy, I'm surprised he even Ko's anybody. It's as if he has two left feet or something.
I believe it's sour g****s as well. No way do I believe Froch hits harder than Kovalev. It's just hard to gauge how genuine these kinds of remarks are. You never know how much truth lies in what fighters say about another fighter. But I do think Kovalev genuinely respects GGG and obviously knows how heavy handed he is/can be.

now what I feel is NOT debatable is who's the BETTER more SKILLED fighter of the two....Krusher has shown to be the more COMPLETE more SKILLED fighter of the two....he's also fought and beaten better opposition....Krusher is without a doubt a top ten P4P fighter...can't say the same for GGG....he really doesn't deserve to be P4P ranked imo
That's where you lost me. GGG has better footwork, defense, timing, accuracy, variety. You could still argue that Kovalev is a better fighter because he's more explosive and has a higher work rate, but skillwise it's GGG hands down.

That's why Loeffler was telling Lara to get himself a title, so that HBO would approve the bout.
How does Lara having a title suddenly make him entertaining ?

His style would not change, just because he holds an ABC belt.

This is exactly why I dont accept the latest trend of using network excuses.

I dont believe a word of it.

Do you have any links regarding Lara/Golovkin ?

I have never heard Team Golovkin even mention Lara, not once.

You are correct, in that they will not fight Lara because of his style.

Which is why a Golovkin/Ward fight will never happen, like I have been saying.

Then again, sparring gloves have extra padding on it as you're not meant to knock your partner out or hurt them, but simply work and get rounds in.
That is mostly to help prevent cuts, along with headgear.

The idea that sparring gloves resemble pillows is a myth, and quite ridiculous.

I have seen amateur lightweights hurt each other in sparring, and have seen plenty of people get dropped with 16/20oz gloves.
