I don't think I've ever shown any bias towards or against either fighter when I talk about them separately - the way you clearly do.

I'm just calling it as I see it. Joe Calzaghe is better than Carl Froch.
Ok and that's your opinion. I never said you were wrong for that.

My opinion is Froch is better.

Ok I'm biased Because I don't praise Calzaghe and highlight that his resume is poor that makes me biased.

The evidence doesn't favour you as has been shown.

Your argument is based around the fact that Calzaghe fought more bums. OK and? Whereas Froch beat more guys like Arthur Abraham or Lucian Bute. I mean ok wow cool....

The difference is when Calzaghe stepped up to top level, he often separated himself from the competition whereas Carl Froch has knock down, drag outs or close fights with almost everyone. Including prospects likes Groves and Direll. I can imagine Froch having a back n forth tear up with Lacy.

He is not in Calzaghe's class.

"I can imagine Froch having a back and forth tear up with Lacy" Yeahhhhhh, right...

Your "evidence" is triangle theories and the fact he moved up in weight and how that somehow proves he's a better fighter

My evidence is he has a better resume. Simple and plain. Or to clarify that's why he has surpassed him, again, IMO.

Who the better of the two is is arguable. Even with my super duper mega wega bias against Calzaghe I've never said that it's wrong to say he's better than Froch. Not once. But yeah I'm so biased

Froch had a few drag outs, Taylor, Dirrell, Groves, all close to losing at the time of the stoppage but that's Froch, Still, the only fighter to beat him convincingly is Andre Ward. No shame in that.

But then Calzaghe only fought two fighters who were good fighters and one of them he arguably lost.

I can honestly see why Yanks think we overhype Froch. Yes he's fought everyone but he's never really separated himself from the top echelon. The fact that it's debatable between him and Kessler over whose number 2 in this era of SMW's say it all.

The night you started saying he's surpassed Joe Calzaghe was after he beat Kessler at the second time of asking in another close-ish fight

I mean....where is the sense in that when Calzaghe humiliated that man when he was undefeated and completely proved he was in a different class to Kessler.

I overhype Froch yet I consider him a boarderline HOF'er.

Because the Kessler win took his resume above Calzaghe's, IMO, that's why.

Do I really need to say that styles make fights again?

Froch had a back n forth tear up with George bloody Groves. He would not do to Lacy what Calzaghe did because he's not as good a fighter. He's not as skilled or versatile.

Or are you saying Froch has had a better career? Again wrong.

The history books will show that Joe Calzaghe was the undisputed SMW Champion of the world, winning every belt there was. It will also show he moved up and beat an ATG fighter in his first fight for the lineal Light-Heavweight title.

What are the history books going to say about Carl Froch? Oh well he battered the great Lucian Bute and was maybe the second best SMW of his era going 1-1 with Joe Calzaghe's b1tch.

Will he even get in the HOF? I suppose they've let Gatti in so maybe.

How does that sentence even make any sense?

A close win over a man that Calzaghe absolutely embarrassed took his resume above Calzaghe's.

                I can't go on.

You keep bringing up George Groves, then in other posts say "Groves did well against an unmotivated Froch". So which one is it? Why do keep using that an example when you also say that he wasn't at his best for that fight? Maybe because you're biased Don't worry I've got a slight bias against Groves aswell.

Froch I doubt would lose a round to Jeff Lacy. We're talking about Jeff Lacy here, a literal bum.

The history books will show he fought in a piss poor era and moved up and just edged a victory against a 44 year old Hopkins.

To answer will he get in the HOF, not sure. More than likely he will. Should he? Arguable. Like I said, boarderline for me.

Comparing him to getting in to Gatti getting on is obviously mind numbing so I won't bother to respond.

Erm, because both of them have other fights believe it or not. The triangle theory you keep referring to isn't the be and end all, again, believe it or not.

Their resumes were close at the time, very close. And then the Kessler win took him over, again, IMO.

Junior Jones polaxed Barrera, Erik Morales batters Junior Jones.

Manny Pacquaio battered Barrera, Erik Morales beat Pacquaio well.

You reckon Morales is levels above Barrera?

                    Ahh, triangle theories.

Well you don't call Froch "Sir Froch" or overrate wins like Bute or Pascal or Kessler in when in comparison to Calzaghe who literally only has 2/3 good wins on his resume.

Lol as if me being a fan of Froch has anything to do with their fights against each other Please stop it.

You did say that Degale would play with a prime Kessler though. lol
