I don't see how it does. It was a tight fight but no one has clearly beat Hopkins except a Prime Roy Jones and Kovalev when he was 50 years old.

The achievement still stands on Calzaghe's record. He went up and won the LHW title in his first fight at the weight away from home against an ATG.

Froch wouldn't even fight an older Hopkins when he won back the LHW titles.

Froch has a much more disputed decision with a prospect in front of his home crowd.

    Once again - levels.

Both were close fights that could have gone either way

The Dirrel fight is far more suspect.

And we're talking about Andre Dirrell - a completely untested and scared prospect fighting in Froch's hometown.

Versus an ATG veteran Bernard Hopkins away from home in America.

        I mean....really?

44 year old ATG. And he certainly embarrassed Calzaghe at times.

But I agree Dirrell obviously the weaker of the two.

Still, both close that could have gone either way.

Hopkins and Dirrell are two completely different levels of fighters just like Calzaghe and Froch.
