I don't care if Calzaghe has a weak resume. He would have whooped Froch.

As Cal said, Kessler in his prime lost to him and Froch needed a 2nd fight and that was close.

B Hop age 43 would have embarrassed Froch much like Ward. Calzaghe actually moved up to LHW for that too...

Both have flaws, and Froch can be commended for who he has fought but he's ducking Degale who has called him out for ages and Ward and instead wanted to fight bum chavez jnr lol.

Even now he wants a 160 lb fighter.

          It doesn't necessarily prove anything.

Hagler didn't go up in weight, Monzon didn't go up in weight. A long list of legends didn't go up in weight. Others that did in their eras didn't prove they were better by moving up In weight.
Calzaghe moved up in weight and won the Light Heavyweight Title in his first fight and that doesn't mean anything?

Dirrell is levels above Groves in every way shape and form except maybe mentally. I keep hearing "wouldn't surprise me" which tells me you are not convinced. Dirrell would knock Groves out, any time or point in their careers. Unequivocally.
How do we know that? Dirrell hadn't fought in a while and said Groves was really good. So did Anthony. The reports were coming out that Groves was more than handling himself, and there was even some video of it.

Dirrell isn't levels above Groves. And aslong as Groves hasn't been full Cobra'd I'd pick him to beat Dirrell.
Groves is a lightskinned fella. Somebody blows in his general direction and he ends up looking like a panda.

Btw, to counter Dirk's theory - It was Dirrell who posted a black eye on Bscene saying something like "tough being back in sparring" or something.

                  Yep.

According to Dirk we've just proved that Dirrell was brutally outclassed and schooled by Groves in sparring.
