Can you not be outboxed whilst being undefeated? Was Julio Cesar Chavez outboxed before Whitaker? Clearly he was a few times, despite pulling out victories.

Reid did outbox him in spots, as did Hopkins.

No different to Taylor, the example you used.

The Groves-Dirrell paragraph, I can't even see what your point is there. Like I said, if Groves hasn't been full Cobra'd then it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Groves beat him.

Well not really because he isn't head and shoulders above Froch if better at all. Ward is definitely miles better than anyone Calzaghe faced.
It's been a theme throughout Froch's career and it's been much more pronounced. He's been badly outboxed on several occasions and pulled it out the bag for one reason or another.

Calzaghe lost rounds to Reid in a back and forth fight, it doesn't mean he was being "outboxed". I wouldn't say Froch was being outboxed by Kessler in either fight - it was just a close fight where guys exchanged rounds.

Whereas Froch has been made to look very amateurish by Taylor, Dirrell, Groves and Ward.

Calzaghe is a level above Froch - simply a more talented fighter. Froch was totally outclassed by Ward. Calzaghe present a much different and better challenge to Ward. Anyone without a clear bias would see that.

And sidebar - Dirrell already battered and gave Ugly Kid a black eye in the gym. At what point would he have stood a chance against Dirrell?

Dirrell said himself that Groves gave him great work in sparring.

Calzaghe only has the Kessler win - it's a shame he never tested himself truly beyond that one fight. He's such a beta

What else was he going to say?

The shiner under Groves' eye told a different story. Dirrell would make him look foolish at any point in their respective careers.

Calzaghe is more talented, yeah. Zab Judah is more talented than both. So what? Talent isn't the be all and end all.

Ok he's a level above If you say so. Froch's resume is still better hence why I said he's surpassed him.

Well yeah Calzaghe presents a different challenge than Froch. Goes without saying. I don't understand these constant meaningless statments. He offers a different challenge but I doubt he presents a harder one. Ward's levels above anything Calzaghe has seen and more than the "gap" between Froch and Calzaghe.

                  That he didn't?

Why would he be obligated to say Groves have him issues in sparring.

One good punch can give you a black eye in sparring. Eroll Spence gave Mayweather a black eye aswell giving a guy a black eye doesn't equal "battering" them in sparring.

Plus sparring is sparring. Fights are totally different and it wouldnt surprise me at all if I saw Dirrell with his famous deer In the headlights look on his face after Groves hit him.

I don't even like Groves infact I can't stand the guy but Dirrell isn't exactly leauges higher. Maybe talent wise he is but that's about it.

Green K bro - if talent was the biggest measure of success, Zab truly would be the GOAT

Cobra is made of a different material than Joe, which supplements his natural talents

Joe, his talent is hard to gauge, he looks fantastic against 40 year old washed up fighters, and the Lacy's and Manfredos of the world. The measure of his "greatness" is only against Kessler
