Froch got used with a sold out Wembley Stadium. Nothing else would move him.

If he was to fight Golovkin, he'd be better to fight him at the City ground in Nottingham imo

I think he'd get credit. Maybe not as much as he should, but taking out Carl Froch would be a serious statement, and put to bed any doubts about Golovkin's power at 168. For me at least.

Froch made $12.5mill for the Groves rematch, but that was because Groves refused the initial offer and it went to purse with Carl taking 85%. It was more less an anomaly that he made that much. In addition Groves was the marketing force behind that fight. That card overall generated $35mill, with a little more that $15.5mill going to the fighters.
If they fight on USppv, I'd imagine they'd be able to take in atleast 300k buys, giving the fighter's a total of about $7mill. Add in gate, MGM site fee, UKppv, and other foreign tv, there's no reason the fighter's total purse wouldn't reach atleast $10mill. Carve up a 60/40 split in Froch's favor and you can ask yourself would Froch take the fight for $6mill min? More than likely he'd make over $10mill depending how the UKppv would carry on a US fight time.
