Froch is little past his prime and Golovkin now is in his prime but the more I'm thinking about this fight the more I think that would be very-very dangerous for Golovkin. Froch, past prime or not is a world class fighter with very durable chin and his reach is longer by 13 freaking cm-s than Golovkin's! So Golovkin would probably be forced to get inside where he isn't that good and Froch's power is also no joke. Could Golovkin stay with his usual strategy and hunt him down from the pocket with set up heavy combinations or Froch can gain momentum instead because he's more rangier and also with power + durable chin. And add the fact that maybe out of the first Kessler fight Froch had problem with fast opponents with speed and good positioning such as Dirrell, Ward or Groves on their first fights. Now, the situation is these aren't Golovkin's most advanced assets, his offence is great but also pretty linear, he doesn't use many angles and doesn't rough up guys on the inside like Ward did with Froch and he also not so fast as Andre Dirrell was. He has other big advantages.
So: Momentum and power are on Golovkin's side, range and size are on Froch's. The big question is who's will will be stronger.

      It's a very-very interesting fight, I would love it.

Ahhh, man, people are really not thinking here. I see a lot of confidence in GGG stopping Froch, which is ridiculous to say the least. Froch's resume is so much better, so much tougher, so much more difficult than Golovkin's, that Golovkin is as far away from it as we as Humans are from traveling outside of our Solar Systems in manned missions. GGG's resume compared to Froch's is like those games that have Easy, Medium, Hard, Professional modes, and GGG's is Easy difficulty while Froch has been going though Professional mode since 2008. For Froch to pick out a fighter that is of similar level of what Golovkin has been fighting, he'd have to look at Yusaf Mack. Mack is pretty much a GGG level opponent. Hell, George Groves, *who Froch knocked out in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium by the way*, is better than anyone GGG has fought to date.

Froch would outbox, fight, outjab GGG to a UD. Put it in Nottingham as Froch's farewell fight and watch GGG and his overly confident fangirls be as surprised as when Froch was underdog to get KO'ed against Bute and instead won every round and destroyed him in 5. It would be a shocker to most of you, but what do you expect from a guy coming up in weight who fought in a weak division his whole career, coming up to fight some one like Carl Froch. Fans bring up Froch's age, like they seem to forget that the guy has been old for quite a while now.

How can you go from "I'm gonna retire" to let's fight golovkin ?

Because he saw Monroe hit him?

He went from "stay away from ggg , he punches like a mule" to "he's too small"

              Him and Hearn want attention

It's hilarious people think they are serious but expected

Watch them come out with "there wasn't enough money in the fight"
That's certainly a possibility. But Golovkin's stature is growing all the time and at some point a Froch-Golovkin PPV bout could well be viable. Maybe they're just keeping Carl's name out there, but maybe they're not.

Wembley has a roof for the fans, a canopy would be over the ring as I think it was for Groves. Frampton fought Martinez outdoors in September so I doubt temperature would be an issue. It couldn't happen in August?

I'm not sure Vegas would outpay a Wembley fight plus PPV. Froch earned $13m against Groves, is he going to get that fighting in Las Vegas?
Dana White recently broke it down as to why the UFC was having the Aldo/McGregor fight in Vegas when could've had 60,000 in Dublin. In Vegas they pay you a site fee and then you get a portion of the ticket revenue on top of that. For a non-casino, you have to pay to use the establishment, that could be a couple million swing alone. Also MGM covers setup costs & labor, which for a big stadium show is quite expensive.

A big factor to this is whether Froch would draw a big UK crowd to Vegas. Golovkin will bring a strong Mexican crowd (which they would lose if they fought in the UK). The other big factor is whether they'll risk this being on US ppv (I think they will as they'd only need about 300k buys bring in $7mill). Not sure how UK ppv's perform on US time.

I have been asking for this fight since GGG beat Proska! Froch can crack and he can take a few. It would be one hell of a bout.

Damn,I didn't know that fights were won based on resumes alone. I wonder why fighters even get in the ring these days if the fighter with the better resume is bound to win. I just really hope that when GGG smashes froch in front of 80,000 at Wembley, you give him the credit he deserves instead of changing your tune to "oh,froch was old/unmotivated/needed a tuneup. GGG is still a bum till he fights ward doe".
